Wessner Chair of Biblical Studies and Professor of New Testament at Wheaton College in Illinois, and serves as a priest at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Geneva, Illinois. She earned her MDiv and PhD in Biblical Studies from Princeton Theological Seminary and is a New Testament scholar whose work often focuses on Hebrews and the relationship between men and women in Christianity.
