College Football 27 just received its BIGGEST update since launch, and EA changed way more than just a few small bugs. In this video, I’m breaking down everything included in the new College Football 27 August title update, including reduced pancake-block frequency, improved blocking assignments, better pass-rush logic, defensive catch upgrades, coverage fixes, new defensive plays, Dynasty improvements, Road to Glory updates, new uniforms, crowd themes, mascots, traditions, rivalry trophies, commentary, and much more. Dynasty received major fixes to recruiting, player progression, injuries, the Coaching Carousel, Athletic Director expectations, Team Builder, conference scheduling, and Wear and Tear. EA also added seven real-life coaches and confirmed that a massive roster update is still coming later this month before Week Zero of the college football season. Road to Glory now has a new Draft Projection and Legacy Score screen, Transfer Portal fixes, improved grading, visible experience modifiers, and changes to Cap Breaker progression. College Ultimate Team is also introducing Evos, which allow eligible players to receive new upgrade paths, higher overall caps, new abilities, chemistry options, and more. The update also adds Tennessee’s Dark Mode uniform, Notre Dame and Wisconsin’s Shamrock Series uniforms, Northwestern’s Black Gothic alternate, new crowd themes, five mascots, new school traditions, ten rivalry trophies, louder stadium chants, and 2,500 new commentary lines. However, the update doesn’t fix everything. EA is still investigating speed boosting, man-coverage effectiveness, slot defensive backs failing to flip, coverage shells not being respected, hurry-up offense resetting Custom Adjustments, and certain hot routes failing to register.
