I denne episoden av «Snakk med Silje» får jeg igjen besøk av menneskerettsjurist Marius Reikerås og tidligere politietterforsker Vigdis Bollerud, som tidligere har gjestet podkasten i henholdsvis episode 107 og 74. Dette ble en intens og kontroversiell samtale om makt, frykt, varsling og det mange mener er alvorlige problemer i rettsstaten Norge. Vi snakker om domstolene, regjeringsadvokaten, maktmisbruk, varsling og hvorfor stadig flere opplever at systemet beskytter seg selv fremfor enkeltmennesket. Hva skjer når mennesker føler at staten de skal kunne stole på blir deres sterkeste motpart? Bollerud forteller om sin pågående kamp mot staten etter at hun varslet om det hun mener er korrupsjon, kameraderi og alvorlige kritikkverdige forhold i politiet. This American Roach

A couple summers ago, Radiolab reporter Alex Neason got out of the shower and almost stepped on her worst nightmare: an American Cockroach. It was flipped onto its back, struggling, and for a split second, Alex swears she felt the spiny tickle of its legs on the underside of her bare foot. And, like every other time she has come into contact with a roach, this sent her into a debilitating spiral of fear, anger, and disgust. This week, Alex tries to understand what might be behind her fear, in the hopes she can overcome it. Lege Rodgeir Vinsrygg mener å ha dokumentert et barnedrap under barnevernets omsorg og krever nå riksrett mot statsministeren Vinsrygg ble bedt om å hjelpe familien til Shada Al-Bargouti 2019. Det han viser meg – falske dødsattester, makulerte pass, klærne hennes som ble kastet, skader fra åstedsbilder som ikke nevnes i obduksjonsrapporten, en gardinstang hun skal ha hengt seg i som ikke kan bære en kropp, og en hel institusjon som makulerer alt– er så absurd at det nesten er umulig å tro. Men det er dokumentert. Vi snakker om: - Hvordan Shada (16) ble tatt fra en frisk familie i Florø, splittet fra brødrene, og endte død på en institusjon eid av Stendi AS. - Hvordan politiet i Stavanger eide huset der hun døde – og likevel henla saken på timer. - Hvordan NRK-ledelsen beordret journalistene sine til å “ligge unna”– og hvordan de gråt over det de så, men adlød. - Hvordan Riksadvokaten nekter å svare, justisministeren ignorerer, og kontrollkomiteen på Stortinget nå sitter med krav om riksrett. Dette er ikke en konspirasjonsteori. Dette er en lege som har brukt seks år på å grave frem bevis – og som nå sier: «Hvis en norsk statsminister skjuler et barnedrap, er han ikke egnet til å sitte.» Jeg har grått. Jeg har sittet målløs.
