    Stories from after 9/11

How did 9/11 the day become 9/11 the idea? That question drives award-winning host Dan Taberski (Missing Richard Simmons, Running From COPS, The Line) to shift his focus to what happened on 9/12, and every day after that. 9/12 is a poignant, surprising, and surprisingly funny seven episode series about people who wake up on 9/12 having to navigate a new, radically altered world. A teenager gets caught up in an out-of-control conspiracy theory that he helped start. A Pakistani business owner finds hundreds of his Brooklyn neighbors are disappearing. Joke-writers at The Onion must figure out just how soon is “too soon”? 9/12 asks what it all means. We know what happened on 9/11. But what happened on 9/12 to alter our memory and our perspective forever?

All seven episodes of 9/12 are available to stream now on Amazon Music or Wondery+. Episodes will release weekly everywhere starting September 8th.

    Wondery Presents: Suspect

    Wondery Presents: Suspect

A big Halloween party at an apartment complex in Redmond, Washington. Themed rooms and costumed partygoers. But by the end of the party, one of the hosts is dead. The police look to the partiers as the prime suspects: was it the guy in the devil mask, the bank robber, the construction worker? As investigators comb through forensic evidence, witness testimony, DNA, and even consult with a psychic, they zero in on one suspect in particular. But for what reason? Host and reporter Matthew Shaer (Over My Dead Body) returns to the scene of the crime, speaks with everyone about a night that still haunts them years later. It’s a series about race and policing, mislaid justice, cutting-edge science, and the kinds of weighty choices that cops and prosecutors make every day -- choices that, once made, are difficult to reverse.

Unbelievable

This story was so interesting and brilliantly hosted by Laura. I had no idea about this stem cell saga. I can not believe this actually happened. I feel for the victims; those that believed in the “treatment” only to come out worse off, permanently maimed, and out of pocket by thousands.

SO. MANY. ADS

Getting really, really tired of all these rehashed stories stuffed with ads for OTHER rehashed stories. Wondery, pay some real writers and journalists and it won’t be so offensive.

desperate, low quality cash grab

ridiculous percentage of story to advertising -every single wondery podcast being promoted every single episode. just google the story and you’ll get all the info. put me off every wondery podcast as i’d rather pay for an actually high quality podcast from another company that didn’t make awful grabs for cash every five minutes on a public domain story.
