    Time for Meditation | Just Breathe

    Welcome to our Just Breathe meditation. Join me by taking a deep breath in through your nose and slowly exhale out through your mouth. Take another deep breath in and slowly exhale out. One more deep breath in and slowly exhale out. Flowers. What an extraordinary gift to our world. Whether they are blooming in fields on the ground or artfully decorating a spring tree with their colorful palette of blooms, their presence in nature evokes joy and gratitude. Observe the flowers swaying gently in unison with the breeze. Notice that they do not brace against the wind; they bend and gently waltz with it. Nature in harmony and rhythm. Each species of flower blooming together in a dazzling display of unity. Take this moment to imagine yourself outside, feel the warmth of the sun and gentle breeze on your skin. There is no need to brace yourself against the wind– allow yourself to feel and move with it. Release all your stress, fears, or worries and, like the flower, waltz in the breeze. Take another deep breath in through your nose and slowly exhale out through your mouth. Feel your body soften as you let go of all that does not serve you on your journey. Taking care of you allows you to remain flexible even when harsher winds blow.     Meditation Welcome to our Reset Refresh meditation. Join me by taking a deep breath in through your nose and slowly exhale out through your mouth. Take another deep breath in and slowly exhale out. One more deep breath in and slowly exhale out. There is something magical about the early morning sun casting a gentle glow as it rises. Its rays allowing a drop of dew to seemingly dance on the end of a blade of grass. Imagine you are sitting quietly in the early morning sun, breathing in the beautiful beginning of a new day. As the sun slowly blankets the garden around you, take this moment to Reset and Refresh. Stop and enjoy all the sights and sounds in this peaceful garden oasis. There is no rush, no hurry, you are invited to sit by the water and reflect in the stillness. Let all of your worries go and embrace the beauty of the landscape around you. Without fear or hesitation, let go of what does not serve you today releasing it in the soft glow of the sun. Perhaps you sit down by the water’s edge and find peace in its quiet rhythm. You notice that the trees and thick foliage are mirrored in the water’s reflection as though they are painted on smooth glass. Perhaps you put your feet in the warm sand, grounding yourselfin the moment. You are at peace in this tranquil setting. Sit with that feeling of calm for a few moments, just breathing and being. Soften your neck and shoulders as you sit in serenity. Stress has no place here – take this moment to reset and refresh. Take one more deep cleansing breath in and slowly exhale out. Trees that have dug their roots deep into the soil determined to see forever. The river. Always changing, moving gently with quiet strength. The banks carved out by time, recorded in the history within the rocks and shore. As we stand in the presence of wonder, feel that strength - that wisdom of age and time. Wander with me in the vast and ancient earth allowing the beauty to bring you stillness, clarity and strength. Take another deep breath in through your nose and slowly exhale out through your mouth. Feel your body release the stress and worry. Nature - it replenishes the soul. It demands our full presence and attention as it shares its wondrous secrets, grounding us in the moment. Take time to wander. Breathe in that fresh air and clear your mind. Gift that time to yourself for renewal. Be kind to you.     Time For Meditation | Bird Watch

    Meditation Welcome to our Bird Watch meditation. Join me by taking a deep breath in through your nose and slowly exhale out through your mouth. Take another deep breath in and slowly exhale out. One more deep breath in and slowly exhale out. You. Yes, you. This is what self-care looks like, allowingyourself those much-needed moments to just breathe and be.Feel your body letting go of all that ruffles your feathers – stress, worry, tension. All these things can be left behind as you tend to YOU without guilt, without hesitation. You are allowed this moment of quiet stillness. The Northern Flicker goes about their day as the world moves around them. Simply content to be. It pauses to recharge from foraging when necessary and then takes flight. The crow sits watchful, unhurried, commanding presence. There is something in that — the ability to remain fully present, fully aware, while sitting in stillness. While the Spotted Towhee is happy to stay near the ground, unbothered by what is happening above. It sits in quiet confidence knowing that it does not need to soar to know its own worth. Our bodies were not designed to stay on heightened alert, and it is important to find that balance of being aware while remaining calm and present. Like water off a duck’s back, let whatever negativity comes your way, roll right off. Re-set. Re-focus. Taking these moments to breathe, add to our ability to be resilient, even in the harsh seasons of our lives. You are not alone in this journey; you are doing your best to survive in the landscape you are in. Allowing yourself to sit quietly, unbothered, unhurried, in quiet solitude is wise.
