Farah Amchichou is a world-renowned Quran reciter from Morocco who has achieved exceptional international recognition for her technical mastery and soul-stirring vocal delivery. Born and raised in Morocco, Farah Amchichou demonstrated an early talent for the sacred sciences, successfully completing the memorization of the entire Holy Quran by the age of 12. She has since balanced her spiritual pursuits with a strong academic foundation, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Islamic Sciences and graduating from the University of Ossol Eddine with a specialization in Islamic Thought, Philosophy, and Religious Education. Farah Amchichou has established an incredible track record on the global competition circuit. She secured first place in the 2018 Morocco National Quran Recitation competition and achieved similar top honors in the Jordanian Hashemite International Competition (2018) and the Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak International Holy Quran Competition in the UAE (2022). Additionally, she earned second place in the Netherlands International Quran Recitation competition in 2022. Her performances are highly regarded by scholars for their flawless Tajwid and her expert command of the rhythmic and melodic nuances of the text. Beyond her competitive achievements, Farah Amchichou is a dedicated educator currently teaching at the Academy of Khayrukum in Spain. She is noted for her ongoing work in recording the entire Quran in the Warsh recitation style—a hallmark of the Moroccan Quranic tradition—in collaboration with prominent international organizations.
