   The president of Benedictine College finally addressed Harrison Butker's speech this week and it's the most brilliant opinion column I've read this year.  I will share it and you will be lifted up.

   Bobby Witt Jr plays hero for the Royals in Oakland, Jerome Tang's contract specifics are just crazy, Caitlin Clark isn't even the best rookie, Bryson takes over Nashville and an artist named Ben Rector writes a short song to his friend Rory McIlroy.

   This episode is on Red Bull.   First, what do you know?  We have a new stadium plan/idea for the Royals in the West Bottoms, mostly in Kansas, just 48 hours after the STAR bond bill passes.
  Then, Patrick Tuohey from the Show Me Institute is our guest and it gets wild.  For two conservative guys that hate taxes and government spending, we sure see this stadium thing differently.  You're either going to love him or love me after this one.  

   Reaction to Kansas lawmakers passing a bill to keep the Chiefs and Royals in Kansas City is comical at best.  There is only one headline here.... Kansas Saves the Chiefs and Royals.  That's right, we know they are not moving out of town now and we can stop talking about that possibility.  So why are KCMO and Jackson County's failed leaders pissing and moaning so much?  Well, they look like the losers they are.  We have a problem in this town about some fake border war or truce and we need to get rid of it.  Even if Kansas is plan B for the teams, they are staying here.  This is a great day!
   Then, more really disturbing news about Britt Reid and his parents Andy and Tammy.  We know Britt was hired by his dad who somehow allowed the addict to drink on the job and drive home.  Now, court documents allege Britt avoided using the breathalyzer device on his car to drive his kids in his mom's car.  He's 39 and she's still enabling him?  With kids in the car?  Wow, if this is true its just horrible.

   The left has invented a new term to try to change a game they invented.  All these bad Biden videos they are calling "cheap fakes."  These people invented the craft 15 years ago and now they hate it.  Of course, the Biden videos aren't even edited but they're trying to convince voters its all fake.
   Kansas AG Kris Kobach has filed suit again Pfizer for misleading Kansans about the Covid jab.  We have the details and give our full support of this legal action.
   Kansas Governor Laura Kelly says she certainly won't veto a STAR Bond bill if it hits her desk, allowing the Chiefs and/or the Royals to build a stadium in the Sunflower state.
  They Royals are set to play the struggling A's and Salvy and Bobby need your support. They are both running second right now in All Star Game voting.
  Because he plays on LIV Golf's tour, Bryson DeChambeau is not on the US Olympic golf team this August.  This is worse than Caitlin Clark not playing.
   The NBA and NHL are finishing with a whimper and we make good on our George Strait story.

   In Kansas, a special session opens this week to discuss lower taxes and STAR  bonds to lure the Chiefs and/or the Royals.  We have the details of the new bill that will be introduced.
   The Royals end the toughest stretch of this year's schedule with a loss to the Dodgers.  In all, KC went 5-7 over the 12 games but didn't lose any ground on Cleveland over the last 11 games.
  Bryson DeChambeau wins the US Open Golf Championship in spectacular, once in a lifetime fashion with one of the greatest shots ever hit on the last hole.  It's his second US Open and as a golfer riding the Trump Train... we are big fans!
   Chuck Schumer clearly can't cook as he proves with a completely embarrassing social media post.  Joe Biden freezes on stage with Barack Obama in what is now the worst clip of Biden ever and George Strait sets at Texas sized record for the ages.

   The Chiefs got their new Super Bowl rings and they are unbelievable!  But the players are already talking about winning another this season.
   The Royals were great until they weren't on Thursday.  Then, left for dead, they pulled off the most needed walkoff yet.
