    God Prepares Us Part 2

    Any new undertaking requires adequate thought, planning, and resources. Nehemiah understood this. But more importantly he understood the need for “God’s gracious hand” in it all. In Philippians the Apostle Paul tells us, “And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” God wishes to show His gracious hand to every Christian who takes part in His work.     God Prepares Us Part 1

    We’re continuing our study in the book of Nehemiah today. Chapter one ends with Nehemiah disclosing that he was the King’s cup-bearer. God had prepared Nehemiah and specially positioned him before he knew anything about God’s plan to rebuild the wall. In the same way, God uses our life experiences to uniquely prepare and position us for the Kingdom work He will call us to.     Standing on the Promises Part 2

    Asking others to pray for us isn’t always comfortable to do. But Nehemiah was joined by others, evidently praying for him in obtaining help for their homeland.
