  1. Self-Abandonment Is the Real Reason You’re Burned Out and Not Growing

Self-Abandonment Is the Real Reason You’re Burned Out and Not Growing

This episode is for the woman who looks successful on the outside… but feels exhausted on the inside. You’re the one who holds everything together. You’re responsible, capable, and deeply committed to your clients, your team, and your family. You do what needs to be done. You show up. You deliver. But somewhere along the way, you may have started disappearing in your own life. In this episode, I take you into a pattern that is far more common than most women realize: self-abandonment. Not because there’s anything wrong with you, but because you were conditioned to believe that being the strong one, the accommodating one, the one who carries everything… is what makes you valuable. We talk about how this shows up in your business through overgiving, overfunctioning, people-pleasing, and constantly putting yourself last. And while these patterns may have helped you get to where you are today, they are also quietly draining your energy, limiting your income, and preventing your business from scaling the way you desire. Because burnout is not just about doing too much. It is about abandoning yourself while you do it. I also share how these patterns are often rooted in early conditioning, the need to belong, and the unconscious belief that your worth is tied to how much you give. And I guide you through what it looks like to shift from self-sacrifice into self-honoring leadership. This episode is both a mirror and an invitation. To stop disappearing. To stop overgiving. To stop putting yourself last. And to start leading your life and your business from a place of truth, boundaries, and self-respect. In This Episode: What self-abandonment actually looks like in business and life (00:16–03:17)How overgiving and people-pleasing become invisible patterns (03:17–04:50)Why success on the outside can still feel exhausting on the inside (04:50–05:44)How self-abandonment directly impacts your income and growth (05:44–06:38)Signs you may be the bottleneck in your business (06:38–07:43)Why carrying everyone emotionally is draining your energy (07:43–08:53)The deeper conditioning behind “being the strong one” (10:07–11:06)How you may be trading your truth for belonging (12:11–13:42)Why self-sacrifice is not sustainable or scalable leadership (07:43–08:53)The shift from self-abandonment to self-honoring leadership (15:52–16:54) Inspired Actions: ✨ Notice where you are saying yes when you actually mean no ✨ Ask yourself where you are overgiving or overfunctioning in your business ✨ Identify where you are putting yourself last (or not on the list at all) ✨ Make one self-honoring decision this week, even if it feels uncomfortable ✨ Begin to see boundaries, truth, and self-respect as leadership — not selfishness You do not have to set yourself on fire to keep other people warm. You are not here to white-knuckle your way to success. You are here to lead… without abandoning yourself in the process. And that is where true growth begins. 2. You Don’t Want a Lamborghini: You Want 14 Weeks Off Per Year

    13 MAR

You Don’t Want a Lamborghini: You Want 14 Weeks Off Per Year

This episode begins with a provocative idea: what if the thing you think you want from entrepreneurship isn’t actually what you want at all? For years, we’ve been shown a very visible version of wealth. The luxury cars. The designer items. The big houses. The symbols that signal to the outside world that someone has “made it.” But when I sit down with women entrepreneurs and ask them what they truly want, the answer is almost never a Lamborghini. What they want is time. Time to be with their children. Time with their partner. Time to travel, to rest, to read, to create. Time to feel like a human being again instead of someone whose calendar is completely owned by her business. In this episode, I share a powerful reframe about success and the kind of wealth that actually changes a woman’s life. I introduce the idea of “invisible luxury” — the freedom to step away from your business without everything collapsing.  We explore why so many entrepreneurs unintentionally recreate the same cage they once escaped from when they left their jobs. I also walk you through how women inside Boldheart are restructuring their businesses so they can take one full week off every month, plus additional holidays — totaling 14 weeks off per year.  Because freedom is not something you earn after you scale. It is something you design into your business from the beginning. If you’ve ever felt like your business depends entirely on you, or you’ve wondered whether true freedom is actually possible as a founder, I believe this episode will expand what you believe is possible. In This Episode: Why visible luxury often distracts from what women truly want (00:00–03:05)The concept of “invisible luxury” and why time is the real wealth (03:05–04:07)What 14 weeks of vacation per year actually looks like in practice (05:22–06:26)Why most women entrepreneurs believe stepping away would collapse their business (07:26–08:37)How many business owners recreate the same cage they once left (09:39–10:48)Why freedom must be designed into your business structure (10:48–11:50)The mindset shift required to stop equating availability with value (11:50–13:09)Three structural strategies that make real time freedom possible (14:18–18:12)Why your identity must evolve from “indispensable operator” to visionary leader (18:12–19:28) Inspired Actions: ✨ Ask yourself what you actually want from your business — status or spaciousness ✨ Notice where constant availability has become a habit instead of a strategy ✨ Begin designing your calendar with freedom as the priority, not an afterthought ✨ Explore how leverage, systems, and structured delivery could create real time freedom ✨ If you’re ready to design a business that supports your life instead of consuming it, apply for a complimentary Business Audit & Seven-Figure Roadmap session with me: www.boldheart.com/call Real wealth is not something that sits in your driveway. 3. She Took Six Weeks Off for Cancer Treatment… and Her Business Grew to $750K

She Took Six Weeks Off for Cancer Treatment… and Her Business Grew to $750K

This episode is for you if you quietly believe your business would not survive without you being there. You hold the clients and the team. You oversee the details. And even if you have started delegating, there is still a part of you that thinks everything depends on you. If that resonates, this conversation will expand what you believe is possible. In this deeply moving episode, I sit down with Boldheart member Elaine Morales, founder of a consulting firm serving nonprofit human service organizations. Elaine grew her business from $389,210 to $574,590 in her first year in Boldheart, and then to $750,000 the following year. All while undergoing treatment for multiple myeloma. During weekly immunotherapy. During a stem cell transplant. During a six-week complete medical leave where she went fully dark. Her team ran the business. Her clients re-signed. Her revenue grew. This episode is not just about numbers. It is about the identity shift required to build a business that can hold you when life happens. It is about moving from “only I can do it” to empowered leadership, building systems before you need them, and allowing yourself to receive support. Elaine shares the 15-year mindset that kept her small, the shift that changed everything, and the bold question she asked herself after her diagnosis: “What if I fully recover and achieve my business goals?” This conversation is proof that scaling is not about working harder. It is about becoming the leader who is no longer the bottleneck. In This Episode: The mindset that delayed her growth for 15 years (02:49–06:02)From controlled chaos to real systems and structure (07:56–08:47)Scaling revenue during cancer treatment (17:48–19:18)Why trying to do it all yourself is actually selfish (29:40–30:51)The feminine approach to leadership and team culture (37:16–40:28)How community dissolves isolation and self-doubt (44:04–46:23)Learning to receive help without guilt (01:06:00–01:07:57)Thinking like an owner instead of an operator (01:02:06–01:03:00) Inspired Actions: ✨ Ask yourself: Where am I still acting as the bottleneck? ✨ Notice where you are resisting help because it feels uncomfortable to receive. ✨ Begin building systems now that your future self will thank you for. ✨ Surround yourself with women who normalize expansion and support. ✨ If you’re ready to build a business that supports you back, apply for a free Get Acquainted Call at www.boldheart.com/call Would you like to work with me to accomplish this while you scale to 7-figures?  Get The Book - www.boldheart.com/the-leveraged-business/book/The Boldheart website for the business coaching that will scale your business to 7-figures with freedom and heart - https://boldheart.com/Apply to have a free Get Acquainted Call with me: a free Exploratory Session www.boldheart.com/talk-to-coachJoin me for my next event: https://boldheart.com/eventsNeed a roadmap? 4. “After This…”: Why We Unnecessarily Delay The Things We Want Now

“After This…”: Why We Unnecessarily Delay The Things We Want Now

Do you keep telling yourself, “After this…I’ll do it.” After this launch. After tax season. After the kids get older. After things calm down. After I feel more confident. If that’s you, I want to lovingly name something: there will always be something getting in the way of you doing “the thing”. In this episode, I dismantle one of the most seductive lies in the entrepreneurial journey, the idea that you just need to finish one more thing before you make your move. And yes, it sounds responsible. It sounds strategic. It sounds wise. But most of the time, it’s fear wearing lipstick. Today, we will unpack the difference between perfect timing and divine timing, why the mind makes waiting look intelligent, and how postponement quietly becomes a pattern that keeps your next level just out of reach. We explore the opportunity cost of waiting, the identity of the woman who postpones, and the courage required to move before you feel fully ready. Because confidence does not come before the decision. The decision creates the confidence. And when you commit, something reorganizes inside you and around you. I think you’re going to love this one. In This Episode: The lie that makes waiting look smart (00:00–01:21)Why there will always be “one more thing” (01:21–02:21)The fear underneath postponement (04:19–05:30)The difference between perfect timing and divine timing (08:54–11:22)Feminine courage vs. forceful action (12:29–13:36)The opportunity cost of waiting (18:11–19:11)How identity shifts before circumstances do (22:12–22:59)Why “ready enough” is all you need (20:15–21:13) Here’s the quote I referenced in the episode: “Until one is committed, there is hesitancy, the chance to draw back, always ineffectiveness. Concerning all acts of initiative (and creation), there is one elementary truth, the ignorance of which kills countless ideas and splendid plans: that the moment one definitely commits oneself, then providence moves too. A whole stream of events issues from the decision, raising in one’s favor all manner of unforeseen incidents, meetings and material assistance, which no man could have dreamt would have come his way. I learned a deep respect for one of Goethe’s couplets: “Whatever you can do or dream you can, begin it. Boldness has genius, power and magic in it!” - W.H. Murray, from The Scottish Himalayan Expedition Inspired Actions: ✨ Name the thing you keep postponing. ✨ Ask yourself what fear is actually underneath the timing story. ✨ Replace “I’ll do it after…” with “I’m ready enough.” ✨ Choose one aligned move this week before you feel fully ready. ✨ If you’re ready to stop postponing your expansion and want support taking that next bold step, apply for a free Get Acquainted Call with me at www.boldheart.com/call And remember…There will never be a flawless window. There will only be a decision point. You don’t need to be perfectly ready. You need to be ready enough. The Breakdown Before The Breakthrough: The Identity Collapse That Precedes the Quantum Leap

This episode is for you if you feel like everything is wobbling or crumbling of you feel like this season is heavy, even though you have your sights on bigger results. Maybe you made the decision to go bigger. To scale. To charge more. To show up more boldly. And instead of everything clicking into place… it feels like parts of your world are dissolving. If that’s you, I want to normalize something very important: the breakdown often (always) comes before the breakthrough. In this episode, I speak about the in-between stage almost no one prepares you for. The space where the old version of you no longer fits, but the new version of you isn’t fully embodied yet. It can feel disorienting. Lonely. Even scary. You may question yourself, your direction, or whether you’re meant for more at all. But what if that “collapse” isn’t failure? What if it’s identity recalibration? I unpack why expansion often requires shedding, why your nervous system interprets growth as threat, and why so many women retreat right before their quantum leap. I share what this has looked like in my own life and in the lives of the women I’ve guided to seven figures and beyond. Because this stage is not punishment. It’s preparation. And if you understand it, you won’t panic when it comes. In This Episode: Why breakdown almost always precedes transformation (00:02–01:06)The “limbo of transformation” and why it feels so destabilizing (01:06–02:00)The symbolism of shedding before acceleration (03:23–04:42)What identity collapse actually looks like in real life (07:42–09:33)Why your nervous system resists expansion (19:50–21:03)How women sabotage themselves in the void (17:35–18:35)The importance of community during identity upgrades (26:59–28:58)Why shedding is the final preparation before acceleration (29:54–30:56) Inspired Actions: ✨ Notice where things feel like they are “falling apart” and ask: could this be recalibration? ✨ Stop labeling discomfort as failure ✨ Protect your sacred thinking and integration time ✨ Resist the urge to overwork to feel safe ✨ Surround yourself with women who normalize expansion ✨ If you’re ready to navigate your next level with strategy and support, apply for a free Get Acquainted Call: www.boldheart.com/call ✨ And if your soul is whispering about gathering in Paris for my intimate 2-day Freedom Framework event, you can apply at www.boldheart.com/events You are not breaking. Borrow My Belief in You: How to Stretch Your Identity to Reach Your Next Level

This episode is for the woman who’s already accomplished so much… but still feels stuck under an invisible ceiling she can’t seem to break through. You might be at six figures or even 7 figures, managing your team, and outwardly thriving but deep down, something in you still questions whether you’re “that woman.” The one who gets to make seven figures or more. The one who lives in overflow. The one who doesn’t have to hustle to prove her worth. If that’s you, I want to offer you something: my belief in you. In this episode, I speak directly to the tender place inside you that wonders if you’re really made for more and I show you how to stretch your identity, rewire old beliefs, and borrow the vision I hold for you until you can hold it for yourself. Even if we haven’t met yet, I do believe in you. And I will never stop believing in your ability and worthiness.  Because success isn’t just about strategy. It’s also, in large part, about self-image. And when you shift how you see yourself, and what you believe to be true for you, everything changes. In This Episode:The invisible ceilings we internalize from childhood (03:01–06:47)Why success still feels unrealistic (08:11–09:08)Rewiring your nervous system to normalize seven figures (09:08–10:09)The power of belief, mentorship, and identity expansion (11:24–13:27)What happens when you borrow belief from someone who’s walked the path (14:35–15:46)Why miracles become your new normal (15:46–17:03) Inspired Actions:✨ Ask yourself: What identity am I still clinging to that no longer serves me? “They Won’t Do It Like I Do”: Healing the Delegation Wound So You Can Scale

This episode is for the high-achieving woman who still feels like she has to carry it all because no one else can do it quite like she does. You know you need to delegate much more, but somewhere deep down, letting go still feels unsafe. If that’s you, I want to name something gently but clearly: you may be carrying what I call a “delegation wound.” In this episode, I unpack the deeper reasons why so many women leaders struggle to let go, even when their calendar is full, their business is growing, and their soul is craving more ease. I explain how past experiences shape our nervous system, how control becomes a trauma response, and how the fear of being let down keeps you stuck in overfunctioning. You’ll hear what it takes to shift your identity from being the one who rescues everything… to being the woman who leads with vision, trust, and systems that hold her. Because you can’t scale a business (or a life) you’re still white-knuckling. In This Episode: Why we cling to doing it all ourselves (01:58–03:59)The hidden cost of micromanaging (03:59–04:57)What makes delegation feel unsafe (06:06–07:02)How control becomes a nervous system default (09:17–11:10)Shifting from rescuer to well-resourced leader (12:27–15:48)The identity shift required for sustainable growth (18:06–19:02)A loving invitation to lead differently (19:02–20:39) Inspired Actions: ✨ Ask yourself: where am I still gripping out of fear? ✨ Name what you’re afraid might happen if you fully let go ✨ Reframe: letting go isn’t losing control, it’s gaining freedom ✨ If you’re ready to lead differently and scale without overfunctioning, apply for a free Get Acquainted Call with me to discuss this further: www.boldheart.com/call ✨ And if you’d like to apply to join me live in Paris for my two day Freedom Framework event, happening April 20–21, details and application are at www.boldheart.com/events You don’t need to do it all to lead powerfully. The Hidden Addiction to Struggle: Why Ease Feels Uncomfortable (and How to Rewire It)

This episode is for the high-achieving woman who feels uncomfortable when there’s nothing to do, and can’t stop pushing, even when she doesn’t need to anymore. The calendar is clear. But instead of resting, she fills the space. If that’s you, I want to name something gently but truthfully: you might actually be addicted to struggle, through no fault of your own. In this episode, I unpack what I call “struggle energy”, that invisible pull toward over-functioning, overbooking, overdelivering, long after it’s necessary. I explain how this pattern gets wired into your nervous system, how it becomes tied to your identity, and why success or downtime actually starts to feel uncomfortable without stress. You’ll hear what I believe causes this addiction to urgency, the dopamine hit you get from chaos, and the anxiety that often comes with white space in your schedule. Most importantly, I will show you how to unwind it so you can actually enjoy what I call Seven Figure Freedom (the name of my upcoming book) and what I guide the women who choose to work with me to achieve. In This Episode: Why ease feels unsafe even when success arrives (00:00–02:13)How productivity becomes a dopamine addiction (04:03–06:11)Signs you’re addicted to struggle energy (07:13–09:05)What it takes to detox from the “doer” identity (09:05–11:15)How ease creates vision, creativity, and flow (12:21–13:21)What success looks like when you stop white-knuckling (14:24–15:20)Why rewriting your identity is the gateway to more income and joy (15:20–18:04)Inspired Actions: ✨ Notice where you’re recreating chaos out of habit ✨ Practice sitting with white space without guilt ✨ Set boundaries that protect your energy and creativity ✨ Choose one way to embody ease this week, even if that means taking a nap in the middle of the workday (can you imagine??)  ✨ Apply for a free Get Acquainted Call with me to connect with me and map out your next level: www.boldheart.com/call You don’t need to earn your rest.
