Today on the Grace at LAST podcast we talk about the restraints other’s put on people to meet their own expectations. Women, children and other people groups are considered to be weaker and that can open the door to be controlled. Not everybody that wants to control others has their best interest at heart so we need to be sure we have a proper perspective of authority in the church and in our lives. Is God speaking to me through the leaders of my

Today on the Grace at LAST podcast we continue to look at
the role women play in the church. We look at Jesus’ perspective of women and
see what Paul had to say after the cross and resurrection. Does God see women
as the weaker vessel in the sense she is inferior and not capable of as much as
a man?  What is our role as women and
what should the men understand when it comes to the Father’s heart regarding
His creation, the woman. Understanding the new covenant of grace, ourselves and
one another will help us in all of our relationships and  contribute to a fulfilled life. Let’s learn
and get this straight so we do not perpetuate these limits the church has had
on women down through the ages.

and we create prayer lists to be sure we are covering all of the important areas of life. But is that anywhere in the Bible? Does scripture support these disciplines that we do that often times, make us feel holy and obedient? Is this something that pleases God and does He expect us all to get up early in the morning and pray? After all, Jesus did. Afterall He has done for you, can you not even sacrifice some sleep to spend with Jesus? These may sound silly, but it Is real and it is often times exactly what is being passed down.
