    Part 2... Well, this definitely wasn't the episode I ever thought I'd be recording, and I am truly sad that it has come to this. Over the past two weeks, I've found myself at the centre of one of the most shocking and confusing situations I've experienced since starting So Dramatic! If you've been listening for a while, you'll know MAFS 2025 bride Sierah Swepstone, and I worked very closely together over the past year. I spent months helping her tell her story in a nine-part podcast series, supporting her behind the scenes, advocating for her, and staying in regular contact ever since. So you can imagine my shock when the very person I'd spent months fighting for suddenly turned on me and then publicly accused me of some very serious and deeply distressing things. What started as Sierah sending me some pretty aggressive texts because (???) quickly spiralled into serious public accusations, a dramatic falling out, and what some might even describe as a targeted smear campaign – which all kicked off after my appearance on The Morning Show, where I referenced Sierah's experience to raise awareness about the alleged failures of duty of care on MAFS – has since exploded into one of the biggest behind-the-scenes dramas I've ever personally experienced (and as you know, there have been many!) But then things got even stranger. Our private Patreon community was infiltrated by a rogue "undercover agent" who made a very targeted attack, leaving many of you caught in the crossfire and just as confused as I was. And so, here we are. This wasn't a story I ever wanted to tell. But after the public allegations made against me by Sierah and those close to her, particularly regarding my character, intentions, and actions, I feel it's only fair that I respond and clear my name. So, in this special multi-part series, I'll explain everything that happened: why I scrapped the original episode I'd already recorded, the shocking turn of events after my appearance on The Morning Show, the deeply hurtful messages Sierah sent me, why she blocked me, what she and her mum have publicly accused me of, the Patreon drama that unfolded in real time, the dramatic fallout, the new information that's since come to light and completely changed everything, my response to everything that's happened, and of course, the receipts behind it all, and why I felt it was only fair to tell you the full story.     This week, I'm pulling back the curtain on something that has been weighing heavily on me for a long time… Doing all the work and getting no credit! After the BBC's recent “investigation” into Married at First Sight Australia made headlines around the world, I watched as media outlets far and wide credited the BBC with exclusive stories and allegations that So Dramatic! had already spent years uncovering and reporting on. From 2025 bride Sierah Swepstone's shocking claims to several grooms with criminal convictions being cast on the show, much of the information being presented as "new" had already been revealed on this very podcast. So why wasn't So Dramatic! credited? And why do so many outlets continue to ignore, republish or repackage my reporting while giving credit to everyone except the person who actually broke the story? I share how it feels to watch years of work be attributed to other outlets, why proper attribution matters, and the enormous amount of time, effort, and risk that goes into producing investigative journalism that most people never see, including get tip-offs, finding and speaking to sources, verifying information, accessing court documents, going through legal reviews, conducting months-long investigations, participant interviews, finding evidence to back up claims, corroborating information with various sources and the emotional toll of helping people tell some of the most traumatic stories of their lives. I also open up about the personal cost of doing this work, including the threats, harassment, legal battles, smear campaigns, health issues and professional consequences I've faced while reporting on these stories. This is an extremely raw and honest conversation about my personal experience doing this job —from burnout to why recognition matters to me, and why—despite everything—I would still do this work all over again, as well as a critique of the Australian media landscape and ethics at large.
