    Episode 53 - Rory Gaffney, the title race, and a crucial derby Shamrock Rovers were held to a goalless draw by Shelbourne at Tallaght Stadium on Friday night, but was it a point gained, two points dropped, or simply a game where Rovers never quite did enough to find a winner? We also turn our attention to a busy week of player news. Maleace Asamoah's loan spell has come to an end, while Alex Noonan has completed a move to Ipswich Town.     Episode 52 - Fightback at the Brandywell earns the Hoops a draw Ryan Brennan is solo today with Adam at Electric Picnic, as Shamrock Rovers return from Derry with a point that will feel like more and less than it deserves in equal measure. Rovers found themselves 3-1 down at half-time at the Brandywell — Ellis Chapman scoring twice and Michael Duffy adding a third to leave the league leaders in serious trouble before the break. The second half told a different story. Graham Burke's header and a Dylan Watts equaliser hauled Rovers level at 3-3, with Will Fitzgerald and Michael McColgan both going close to a winner in the final minutes. A point that keeps the five-point gap at the top intact — but it was the first half that did the talking. We look back on the game in full, asking the honest questions about how Rovers ended up 3-1 down before half-time, whether the performance carried the weight of a difficult few weeks, and what it says about where this squad is right now. We then step back and ask a bigger question: is this a title-winning defence? Rovers conceded three times at the Brandywell today, and it is not the first time this season that the backline has been cut open.     Rovers' European campaign comes to an end

    Episode 51 - The European campaign is over for Shamrock Rovers. Ryan Brennan and Adam Casey look back on Rovers' 1-0 defeat to KuPS in the second leg of the Conference League play-off in Finland, a result which saw the Hoops lose 2-1 on aggregate and miss out on the Conference League league phase. We discuss what went wrong on the night, the missed opportunity and the disappointment of seeing European football end after a campaign that began with Champions League ambitions. With no European football to come, what does this mean for Shamrock Rovers now? We look at the implications for the remainder of the season, how the club can respond to the disappointment and whether the lack of European fixtures could ultimately change the dynamic of the domestic campaign.     Episode 50 - Rovers head to Finland with everything to play for The Milltown Way reaches a milestone as episode 50 arrives, but the focus remains firmly on Rovers and a huge night ahead in Finland. Ryan Brennan and Adam Casey look back on Shamrock Rovers' 1-1 draw with KuPS in the first leg of the Conference League playoff at Tallaght Stadium. Was the result a fair reflection of the game? Did Rovers do enough to take an advantage into the second leg? And what will need to improve if the Hoops are to finish the job and secure European football for the season?     Episode 49 - Rovers bow out of the FAI Cup Today brought more bad news. A 3-2 defeat to St Patrick's Athletic at Richmond Park ends Rovers' FAI Cup campaign at the 3rd round stage, three days on from the 5-1 collapse in Albania that all but ended their European summer. We go through this afternoon's cup tie in detail, looking at where Rovers fell short, whether the performance reflected a team still carrying the damage from last Thursday, and what the result means in the broader context of a deeply difficult fortnight. We then step back and ask the harder question: where has Rovers' summer gone? A week ago they held a 3-1 lead heading into the second leg against Egnatia, and were still alive in the FAI Cup. The picture is very different now. Out of the Europa League, out of the cup, with the title race the only piece of silverware still on the table. Because there are two European, KuPS Kuopio of Finland in the first leg of the UEFA Conference League playoff at Tallaght Stadium on Thursday evening. Win over two legs and Rovers are in the Conference League group stage. Lose, and the European chapter of 2026 is finished. There is no safety net this time.     Episode 48 - A night to forget as Rovers suffer Egnatia collapse This is one Rovers won't want to remember. Shamrock Rovers travelled to Albania with a 3-1 advantage over KF Egnatia in the Europa League third qualifying round, but what followed was a disastrous night as Egnatia ran out 5-1 winners. The result saw Rovers lose the tie 6-4 on aggregate and exit the Europa League, despite having held a two-goal advantage heading into the second leg. We go through the performance in detail, looking at where it went wrong, how Rovers allowed the tie to slip away and the wider implications of such a damaging European exit.     Episode 47 - Rovers roll on as Albania awaits Shamrock Rovers continued their strong domestic form with a 3-2 victory over Dundalk at Tallaght Stadium, in a game that saw all five goals arrive inside the opening 39 minutes. We look back on an eventful night for the Hoops, breaking down the frantic first half, the second-half response and the key moments that saw Rovers hold on for another three points. The victory moves Rovers 10 points clear at the top of the League of Ireland Premier Division, although Bohemians and St Patrick's Athletic still have games to play.
