Maura was a 21 year old student in February of 2004 when she inexplicably drove three hours from her dorm in Amherst, Massachusetts to the White Mountains of New Hampshire and vanished. At around 7:30pm her vehicle was involved in a single car, non life threatening accident at a hairpin turn on dark & desolate Route 112. She has not been seen or heard from since. Now two filmmakers set out to find answers on this mystery by diving deep into Maura's life, the region in which she went missing, and the online world of citizen detectives.

Outstanding Podcast

Lance and Tim do an outstanding job with the Missing Maura Murray podcast. Thoughtful and smart coverage by two talented storytellers. After interviews with them on the unsolved Colonial Parkway Murders, they inspired us to start our own true crime podcast, Mind Over Murder.

Fascinating case

Tim and Lance are amazing. I’ve been listening since episode 1. I don’t love when other cases are incorporated so much and think Crawlspace would be a better place for some episodes, but they do a fantastic job covering Maura’s case, offer interesting perspectives, interview many people who are supportive and unsupportive, and cover all their bases. Of course they speculate-anyone who thinks they shouldn’t—do you even know this case’s details? All you can DO is speculate, and Tim and Lance keep it professional and make their opinions separate from facts, clearly. Awesome job guys, I am near Wormtown myself and would love to come see you at a Crime Con someday! With love from CT!

Great Podcast

This story is so interesting and the podcasters do a great job organizing the convoluted facts.
