    In April 2017, 59-year-old Debbie Ann Hutchinson vanished from Sydney, Nova Scotia. Days later, her white Kia Magentis was found burning in a wooded area not far from her home. In this episode, we are joined by Debbie’s estranged daughter, Colette Deveaux to discuss her mother’s unsolved homicide, and the complicated grief that followed. Collette shares what it is like to mourn a parent while also carrying painful memories from childhood, and how Debbie’s murder forced her into an impossible emotional position: seeking justice for her mother while still reckoning with trauma caused by that same relationship.     Shortly after the release of the previous episode in this series, I connected with someone very close to Emily Bailey’s story. He offered to share startling new details that may shed further light on what happened in the days leading up to her disappearance. Brandon Hunter is the father of one of Emily’s daughters.     Shortly after the release of the prior episode in this series the show was contacted by someone claiming to be a close friend of Emily's named Nicole Margerison. Nicole offered to fill in many of the blanks related to Emily's last known whereabouts and possibly shed some light on the circumstances related to her disappearance. Margerison was one of the last people to see Emily, was polygraphed by Hamilton police, and provided investigators with some disturbing information regarding the man she last saw Emily with. In this episode Nicole and I will discuss many new details related to the still unexplained disappearance of her friend Emily Bailey.
