We're just two die-hard horror fans presenting new thoughts and takes on both favorite and obscure horror films from yesterday to today. We watch and review one horror movie a week from the perspective of fun, with a little film criticism thrown in.
In this case, we identified as many charms as flaws in 2005's Cursed - a movie with a production history that lives up to its title. Hear more inside. And thank you, dear listeners, for 250 solid episodes of support! Let's raise a bloody glass to 250 more.
This Wes Craven-produced short franchise is a special-effects extravaganza with a fun villain and an interesting premise: What would happen if you awakened a modern-day genie who wasn't so blue and friendly?
Directed by a William Crain, a black director, and helmed by the Shakespearean actor William Marshall, Blacula is essentially your standard Dracula story transported to an urban setting. And it's not nearly as bad as its goofy title would lead you to think.
My Bloody Valentine
February 14th is coming, and that means curling up with a loved one to watch a group of miners and their girlfriends get pickaxed to bits by a crazed killer in retaliation for an incident that happened on Valentine's Day 20 years ago. Or at least, that's how WE celebrate the holiday. How about you?
The result is an incredibly odd yet creepy horror flick that managed to give us quite a bit to chat about. Thanks, Ryan, for the suggestion!
Needless to say, we had a lot to choose from for our tribute episode to this legendary contributor to cinema history, and indeed we have already covered several films he has scored, such as The Thing, The Bird With The Crystal Plumage, and Exorcist 2: The Heretic. We chose the Jaws knock-off "Orca" because...well, it's a movie we'd always wanted to check out. And boy, were we pleasantly surprised.

These guys are the absolute best! Witty, insightful, giggly, and above all entertaining. Their friendship comes through while analyzing/critiquing “bad” horror movies. A joy to listen to them make each other laugh and even change opinions using thoughtful arguments and discussion. A delight!
5 stars bc I appreciate any horror podcast and I love the school teacher guy but other guy seems so snobby. The slow ha ha he he he laugh as he rips on every 80s horror. Of you are such a horror fan then why have a horror podcast to always laugh at and ridicule All negative. I’m trying to find something positive bc obviously your listeners that seek out horror podcasts are fans so always ripping on the movies doesn’t really mesh. He he haha in snooty laugh like he made some better movie himself. God what a deeeb. Although he did like return living dead but just the overall criticism of everything. You must have a real fun life with that outlook. If you don’t have fun watching horror then stop watching dork
Fun and funny
