A Star Trek podcast by two guys who are a bit embarrassed to have a Star Trek podcast. After reviewing all of Star Trek: The Next Generation, we're reviewing Star Trek: Deep Space Nine from beginning to end. Check out The Greatest Discovery, our spinoff about all the new Star Trek series!
Cheesesteak Handshake (DS9 S7E15)
When someone puts a jack in Vic Fontaine’s box, it really grinds his gears. But when the entire senior staff get into role playing games, Captain Sisko must decide which entrance to use if he wants to join them. Who is in charge of sandwich continuity? Can you overcook a dress? Where is Worf? It’s the episode that’s going to have to do some soul searching.
Tentacle MAN (DS9 S7E14)
When Odo and Bashir pick up a hitchhiker, the constable finds himself with a golden opportunity to connect with his own species. But when his new buddy makes a bad first impression on the station’s crew, Odo is caught between two worlds yet again. Are there conferences in the Delta Quadrant? Did Quark expose how racist Star Trek is? Is there anything in the entire galaxy that could shake Sisko’s trust in his officers? Its the episode where we find out whether Kira is link-curious.
The K’Pruder Film (DS9 S7E13)
When Starfleet officers turn up dead on DS9, Captain Sisko is surprised their deaths aren’t war-related. But when Ezri Dax goes for a post-graduate minor, it’ll be a major problem for a killer on the loose. Is anything off-limits in a “if there’s anything I can do” reciprocation? Why don’t weapons designers consider asymmetrical eye-puffiness? Is this what inspired CSI? It’s the episode that never sleeps!
Biker Pixie Dreamgirl (DS9 S7E12)
When Quark and Rom steal a cloaking device to barter for the Nagus’s life, they take it somewhere Martok would never think to chase them. But when the business leaders of the alternate reality don’t keep their word, stock prices on The Regent plummet to all time lows. Have the Ferengi really achieved total market saturation in the Prime Universe? What gross stuff is Mirror Universe Bashir into? What’s the smallest number of dimensions you need to play chess? It’s the episode with a leather legacy.
Taint Miners (DS9 S7E11)
When Miles O’Brien goes missing in Ezri Dax’s old neighborhood, Captain Sisko puts her on the case. But when she discovers the closets in her family home are stuffed with skeletons, everyone is a suspect. If she “can’t even,” then why does she “keep”? Where are the chops and why aren’t they busted? Have we reached “apex hardhat”? It’s the episode that’s laudanum adjacent!
Daddy Vicc (DS9 S7E10)
When Ensign Nog returns to the station with a new leg, he’s still up in his head about how much it hurts. But when he stops participating in his rehabilitation, he’ll need the kind of therapy only a hologram can provide. How f****d up is Sisko’s recipe for carrot cake? What’s more traumatizing, dip-to-white transitions, or this episode’s fade to commercial? Is Vic Fontaine the stuff of a creepy-wet-hair nightmare? It’s the one where we stack up opportunities to not feel bad.

Greatest waste of 30min
One of these guys is funny, and the other is my husband. Both are very attracted to William Riker.
The Funniest Star Trek podcast...
Of the only two I’ve ever listened to.
I started listening from the very first episode and am still listening. These guys are great and their banter is consistently funny.
Thank you Raz and Plaveem for making the best ST podcast out there today!
Have proudly watched every episode (while also being embarrassed) and can’t wait for VOY.
