Tony Michaels Rebrand, Stuttering John, Opie Unfiltered, Jerry Banfield

Whitney Cummings decided to scrap an entire episode and then she scrambled to record a new one that no one was prepared for. What could she have possibly said about Perez Hilton? Tony Michaels has decided to completely change his show format. The problem is, he’s still the host and he is endlessly unlikeable.  Adam Busch revisited Stuttering John’s Beer on the Balcony featuring David Feldman. It’s incredible to watch John’s guest quickly realize that John has a childlike understanding of politics and the world and he can’t stop trashing everyone he’s ever worked with. David tries to help him but StutJo can’t be fixed. Jerry Banfield contemplates selling us the 16 minute unlisted video he sent to his queen to win her back. You won’t believe who he asked for advice on what to do. Opie can't wait to milk the attention he finally got from Anthony Cumia after his cohost Ron the Waiter made fun of the Anthony and Jim Show. The problem is, Ron and Opie have no idea how to respond in a way that doesn't prove everything Anthony said is 100% accurate. Epic fail! Megan joins the show to play “Is It Gay?” and Simon’s “Opie or Burr” game. We catch up on the Internet News and finish up with your voicemails. Ep753 - Joe Cronin Show, Jerry Banfield, Opie vs. Anthony, Zman

Joe Cronin hosts a wrestling show that perhaps at one time was popular. That’s definitely not the case anymore. He seems to hate it. The specific episode we chose to review is a definite red flag. He probably needs someone who loves him (or just kinda likes him) to step in and help.  Jim from Jim and Them had an amazing accomplishment recently. He and his cohost were able to infiltrate (purchase tickets for) Corey Feldman’s 55th birthday party. Corey’s band performed (of course). Jerry Banfield continues to struggle with his current existence. He LOVES dating girls but he also wants to settle down and have children ASAP. People try to help him but he refuses all common sense advice because, this just in, he might be crazy. Howard Stern’s band The Losers played King Crimson. Chad Zumock bails on a debate with Rocco about the business of stand up comedy and makes up a horrible excuse for it. He scared! Anthony Cumia slaps back at Ron the Waiter after Ron’s horrible impression of Ant and Ron’s uneducated assessment of the Anthony and Jim Show. Ron is so out of his league it’s hilarious. Anthony took a lie detector on Legion of Skanks and it turned into an “Opie sucks” chant from the audience. Opie’s FU Friday episode is full of unfunny references for 40 years ago that are both lazy and depressing. We finish with your voicemails. Ep752 - Opie Unfiltered, Jerry Banfield, Kevin Brennan, Aaron Imholte, Whitney Cummings

We start with Mario Bosco appearing in front of 18,000 fans on Kill Tony. He may not be very funny but he actually does have the misguided confidence he’s known for. Chad Zumock outed Aaron Imholte for getting too drunk at the Steel Toe anniversary event and poor Aaron could not figure out how to spin it. After we listen to Stuttering John’s isolated vocal tracks as our Cringe of the Week segment, we check in on Whitney Cummings who can’t improvise her way out of a thing that someone would need to improvise their way out of. Kevin Christy, her cohost, has a joke that bombs spectacularly! Kevin Brennan is angry and streaming 24/7 at this point. He gets mad watching his brother interview Craig Ferguson but then feels better when his chat suggests he could take Dave Smith’s spot on Legion of Skanks. He convinces himself he’s basically been offered the position which is soothing to the senile old fool. Jerry Banfield has completed the transformation from lovable loser to evil supervillain. He wants to get laid really badly and so he has become a nuisance to every woman who enters into his orbit. Opie finally commented on the Anthony and Jim Show and boy is he butthurt! Wow!! He lashes out at Jim Norton who hasn't said anything about Opie in many, many years! Megan and Annie join us for a round of “Is It Gay?” and Simon’s “Opie or Burr” games. Ep750 - Lifeline w/Chris D'Elia, Kevin Brennan, Joe Matarese, Jerry Banfield, Opie

This week we start by checking in on Joe Matarese’s Road Back to Philly. This show has turned into a heavily medicated hasbeen having boring conversations about the weather with a dullard. Danny can’t spit out a single question and Joe pretends it’s a normal back and forth. Adam has been documenting the mental decline of Kevin Brennan for a few weeks now. Everything Kevin says is a lie. Everything that makes him a winner is suddenly a loss when it applies to others. Ethan Ralph has zero understanding of how Stuttering John is doing. Jerry Banfield takes us through his dating profile with full explanations and why he picked out each picture and how he chose his words for his bio. Spoiler: ChatGPT told him what to do. And he thinks this is his authentic self. Megan and Annie hop on early for a round of “Is It Gay?” and then we check in quickly on Aaron Imholte with his most anti-semitic rant yet. Artie Fletcher finally found a way to shut us up. Chris D’Elia and his brother don’t give a single f*ck about their audience on Lifeline and actively spit in their faces. I’ve literally never seen a show more phoned in and boring than this one. Opie saw Kevin Hart’s movie and can’t stop complaining about how much he hated it. When the chat calls him out for not being a feminist he gets enraged and comes back with an extremely nonsensical response. We finish up with recent reviews and your voicemails. Scatpodcast by Dirty Gary, Opie Radio, Jerry Banfield, Artie Fletcher

For everyone who’s been asking us to get back to old school episodes of WATP, careful what you wish for. We meet Dirty Gary, a gay man who is really into scat, aka poopy. Wait until you hear what his guest has been up to. I didn’t realize I could be shocked by a podcast in 2026, but here we are. Tab Birt joins us in studio and Nice Doug is also on to share listener questions that will make you blush. Cringe of the Week is the Regz with Luis J Gomez getting Robert Kelly to tickle him. Chad Zumock lied about Nikki Glaser donating $500 and he is handling it the worst way possible. Artie Fletcher sets up premises that never pay off. It’s like he’s not listening to himself. Jerry Banfield tells us way too much about his personal life and I can’t get enough! He sent a 16 minute video to the woman he has a crush on and tells us every embarrassing thing he said in it. Oh, and he changes his business model again. Opie had a riveting FU Friday with Tony and Ron full of hot takes on Jewish food, Benjamin Franklin, and Yoko Ono’s butt. The best part was when they talked about burying their pets. What a fun show! We finish up with Internet News and your voicemails.  Doug’s show: https://www.youtube.com/@GoodTimesGreatMovies Tecmo Bowl t-shirts: https://www.teepublic.com/user/tecmosports Tickets to see us live in Detroit: http://watplive.com/ WATP candy available now: https://www.leiselandfriendsgourmet.com/ Support us, get bonus episodes, and watch live every Saturday and Wednesday: http://bit.ly/watp-patreon https://watp.supercast.tech/ Learn more about your ad choices. Bill Burr, Opie Radio, Jerry Banfield, Artie Fletcher, MLC, Chad Zumock

Today we start with the revelation that Nikki Glaser did not send Chad $500 for his special. Shocking I know! Cardiff did some great investigating and proved that once again Chad has made up a lie that wouldn’t have made him look good even if it were true.  Artie Fletcher’s standup set is getting more and more bizarre. Crowd work for your DVD special isn’t a good idea but local references to cater to the audience in front of you might be even worse. KC Day was a good sport putting together the Trek Off for Vinnie Paulino’s consequence and he made a heart warming tribute song for us. Jerry Banfield made every mistake possible with the love of his life and he’s finally ready to talk about where it all went wrong. Unfortunately he learned to stop giving us all of the details on his vlog. Good takeaway but not good for WATP. Kevin Brennan did one of the craziest things I’ve ever seen - he watched Adam Busch acting on a sitcom with Jon Lovitz, Danny Trejo, Cheri Oteri, etc. and decided that it proves Adam didn’t get paid and that he’s a failed actor. Bill Burr had Julian Casablancas, the lead singer from the Strokes on his show and he couldn’t be been less prepared. It’s awkward and embarrassing. Opie had Tony P cohost with him on Monday morning and shuts down any chance Tony had to promote his comedy. When Ron joins on Tuesday he tries once again to hit the goal and the reason he needs $100 this time is insane! Megan and Annie join us for a round of “Is It Gay?” and “Opie or Burr.” We get caught up on Spotify comments, reviews, and your voicemails.  Adam is opening for Roger Daltrey: https://www.yaamava.com/entertainment/roger-daltrey Tickets to see us live in Detroit: http://watplive.com/ WATP candy available now: https://www.leiselandfriendsgourmet.com/ Support us, get bonus episodes, and watch live every Saturday and Wednesday: http://bit.ly/watp-patreon https://watp.supercast.tech/ Watch the episode here: https://youtube.com/live/N0htWM1Szd4  Learn more about your ad choices.
