Beyond The Pitch

I first listened to Phil because he was a Manchester United supporter who had some inside knowledge. I continued to listen to him because of his analysis, not just on sports, but for daily life. Phil is as an amazing advocate for the everyday person, he doesn’t shy away from sensitive topics that affect people day in and day out. I never thought I’d get some of the most insightful and inspiring advice and analysis that I apply daily in my life from a sports podcast, but I am very thankful I found Phil and I’m very thankful he continues to make amazing podcasts that touch your soul. As for Sports, Phil has a great understanding of what makes a team successful, the psychology of players, the structure of organizations. You will not find in depth tactical breakdowns where he sounds like Pep, but you will get an amazing overview of how and why teams succeed or fail.
