I appreciate anyone trying to help these families. Don’t get me wrong. However, the host of this podcast seems to go into each interview with a very long, long list of less than scintillating questions about the victim. All of the interviews are recorded phone calls which means the quality is variable. But the interview questions! Super tedious. For example : “So she was the second to the oldest child?…Huh! Interesting! And you mentioned she right -handed? Oh! Left-handed? Great…Okay moving on let’s talk about…Yes! What color socks did she usually wear?” With an excess of nit-picky conversation sometimes it’s hard for the listener to pay attention when this is an important opportunity to address the big issue.

The sound quality is not good in the last few episodes! Could hardly hear anything esp interviews by phone

I am a big fan of the podcast, but sometimes I have a hard time hearing some of the stories. I’m listening to the Layla Santanello episode. The family, especially her mother, is a nightmare. Numerous “boyfriends”, addiction, etc. What a mess. I had to turn it off.

Knowing how to interview is why this podcast is great! Ed lets the guest talk and gives them time to express their feeling and tell their story!
