Easily Digestible

This is a great way for anyone to digest the Lutheran Confessions in short, manageable pieces!

Love this podcast! Much needed refresher!

Thank you for the time put in to deliver truths. This podcast has been extremely helpful to me as my husband and I have drastically different church origins which leads to disagreements. Listening has been a refresher course so I can better articulate my beliefs and point to scripture with confidence. Thanks again for all you’re doing!

Your Lutheran Re-Catechesis!

Fantastic podcast! Ran across it last year when I started asking questions about the faith of my baptism (LCMS) and picked up a copy of Luther’s Small Catechism. Having never read through or even seen the catechism before (we didn’t have one at home except for my dad’s from the 1950s, and I honestly can’t remember using it in confirmation :/ ), I was a bit intimidated when I bought it, as I wasn’t sure how quickly to go through it, who to look to for interpretive guidance and clarification (was embarrassed to admit my poor catechesis to my pastor), how the different sections tie together, etc. Safe to say this podcast has been the perfect accompaniment! Pastors Jason, Brett, and Brian have natural rapport and find a great balance between technical, systematic theological discussion (thanks, Pastor Gudim), lightheartedness (thanks, Pastor Ricke), and relatable questions and discussion rooted in the Christian life (thanks, Pastor Boe). I can’t express how grateful I am for these men and for their 21st Century presentation of the material Luther brilliantly prepared nearly 500 years ago (1529). God is great!

I would recommend this podcast to Lutheran high schoolers going through confirmation, Lutheran adults interested in relearning the faith, and especially to those outside of Lutheranism who wish to know what we truly believe and teach (as opposed to some caricature or straw man). God is great!
