    Bachelor 24ep2: Chekhov’s Champagne

    Bachelor 24ep2: Chekhov’s Champagne

Unlike our last podcast episode we actually get to talking about the show pretty quickly in this podcast episode. Chekhov’s Champagne? It’s just like Chekhov’s Gun, except it’s… champagne. As in, Kelsey’s Des Moines Meltdown was predetermined by Bachelor producers. We also discuss Hannah B’s presence, Hannah Anne’s (lack of?) innocence, Tyler’s (lack of?) romancing in real life, and, all kidding aside, the problem of the show presenting Victoria F as a new, insecure model when she put on some really awful gear for a photo shoot a couple years ago. This leads to a broader discussion on race in America. It’d be awesome to have you along, so hit the play button and join us!

    Bachelor 24ep1: Fallen Kingdom

    Bachelor 24ep1: Fallen Kingdom

Welcome back, and we come back strong prompted by Co-host Iciar’s most excellent cultural provocations. They link love languages (with a nod to our last two podcast episodes) to politics and, generally, Western Civilization. (Seriously, this happens.) Either abruptly or smoothly, depending on your taste for non-sequitur, we then get to Peter and his quest to find love that’s exactly like the love he has with his parents. Err, his parents have with each other. Co-host Caitlin shares anecdotes, Co-host Craig makes things confusing, and it all wraps up into a tidy, albeit longer than usual, first Bachelor Masters episode of the season. And the Fashion Roundup, too! Hit the play button and join us!

Bachelor in Paradise 6ep13: More love languages ‘n stuff

Bachelor in Paradise 6ep13: More love languages ‘n stuff

If you felt that the Bachelor in Paradise finale was a continuation of last week’s episodes then, well, you’re right, because it was, including the love languages mumbo jumbo and all of the other stuff. In this last episode of our Bachelor Masters season the other stuff includes: attachments, detachments, miscommunication, misread signals, love, loss, trains, vans, a bad voice-over, blood diamonds, fashion, a kazoo, a tambourine, and some relationship roll playing. Hopefully we’ll leave you wanting even more as we head into the three month hiatus! Join us by pressing the play button and, as always, we’d love to hear from you on social media!

Bachelor in Paradise 6ep11&12: Love languages ‘n stuff

Bachelor in Paradise 6ep11&12: Love languages ‘n stuff

We recorded this episode early in the morning so it takes us some time to get into our groove. Once we do, Co-host Iciar leads us in an interesting conversation about “love languages” and even has all three of us co-hosts take the love languages quiz. It’s a result of the various Bachelor in Paradise couples having to cope with their coming break-ups (err, leaving Paradises together) and walls up and down and whatnot. If you’re sleepy, this is a great episode. If you’re wide awake, it’ll be a good preview for when you’re sleepy later. Either way, it’s awesome! Join in by pressing the play button!

Bachelor in Paradise 6ep9&10: Threat assessment

Bachelor in Paradise 6ep9&10: Threat assessment

A lot happens in this podcast episode that you won’t want to miss! Our frustrations continue to mount over the contestants and their tactics and threats, the Bachelor Masters’ perceived differences of opinions with Bachelor Nation, how Co-host Iciar and Co-host Craig are diverging their social media strategies, Co-host Caitlin’s hockey fandom woes, and, specifically, Derek, JPJ, and Tayshia. Whoa, that really is a lot! We’d love to have you join in, so hit the play button and also hit us up on our divergent social media!

Bachelor in Paradise 6ep7&8: Catcher in the vocal fry

Bachelor in Paradise 6ep7&8: Catcher in the vocal fry

The contestants and their vocal fry (and, lets face it, their personalities) have led the Bachelor Masters hosts to boil over with mixed emotions. Consequently, there are some good old fashioned Bachelor Masters arguments in this episode. Is John Paul Jones an evolved man or a creeper? Is Tayshia manipulative? Is Derek’s podcast to blame for any of the others’ actions? Is the Amazon forest burning for economic gains or displacement of Indigenous peoples? (We’re not kidding, the Amazon fire is going to ruin us all.) All that and more, simply hit the play button to join us!

Haha

This podcast somehow came up on my phone and I listened to an hour not really paying attention then when I looked closer realized I was listening to this podcast! Now I’m subscribed and can’t get enough.

Funny but also sincere

I enjoy that there is both male and female hosts. They do a good job of talking about the themes of the shows but also being pretty funny. I listen in every week on my ride in to work and it’s a good pick me up.

Gets me every time

These podcasters are the best! Not into pushing their own agendas but giving a witty, interesting viewpoint. They’re very “emotionally intelligent” & their take on all things BN- Give them a listen! An awesome Podcast that’s like hanging out with your BFF’s and laughing about such a ridiculously addicting show
