Cunha inspires epic United comeback as Barca ease past Villa

Could this be the start of Michael Carrick’s redemption arc at Old Trafford? Jimbo is joined by Jack Lang, Liam Twomey and Charlie Eccleshare after a crazy night in the Champions League. It was getting mutinous at Man United with the hosts 2-0 down against Roma having missed a penalty. Enter Matheus Cunha to turn 0 points into 3. Next up for United, Aston Villa at Old Trafford. Unai Emery’s side are eventually swept aside by swashbuckling Barcelona on Tuesday. Holders PSG are 4-0 up at Villarreal after 16 minutes, eventually running out 6-0 winners. And Bayern impress with a 2-0 victory at Atletico. Elsewhere, it’s more misery for the Magpies as Everton win at Newcastle yet again. And in the Championship, West Ham replace Nuno with Scott Parker! Milan win the derby, Dortmund stop Bayern and Champions League returns

The Euro Show is back to look ahead to another set of mouthwatering Champions League fixtures and discuss what’s been an enthralling weekend of action on the Continent. AC Milan continue their imperious recent record over city rivals Inter with a 3-1 win at San Siro. Christian Pulisic is yet again amongst the scorers against the Nerazzurri and that result means it’s Lazio who are now outright top of the pile in Serie A after 10 games. Gennaro Gattuso’s side and local rivals Roma, who go to Manchester United this week, are now the only two unbeaten teams in the league. Ballon d’Or winner Harry Kane misses a penalty and Fabio Silva scores a late equaliser as Dortmund hold Bayern to a 2-2 draw in Germany. The Bavarians stay top on goal difference ahead of Die Schwarzgelben, whose former striker Niclas Fullkrug STILL can’t stop scoring for Werder Bremen. Jude Bellingham scores his 50th goal for Real Madrid as they beat Racing Santander 3-0, while Barcelona get back to winning ways with a 6-1 victory over Alaves. But the attention is on Atletico boss Diego Simeone, who has won a record-equalling 344th La Liga game as a manager. It’s just the small matter of Bayern Munich in the Champions League next up for his side. And in France, Achraf Hakimi scores a hattrick and creates two assists, all from right-back, as a much changed PSG smash Le Havre 5-1 to maintain top spot in Ligue 1. Shocked Arsenal head to Anfield as Carrick’s United go to Chelsea

The show is great of course but ever since they’ve been including video, the integration with Apple Podcasts has been poor. I cannot download an episode and play it offline. This is the only podcast series that gives me problems.

When u add video it is no longer a podcast. and now it sucks. also half the episodes literally are unplayable. Literally, not figuratively. Lost Arsenal Clarke asap. Insuffererable, unlistenable. Bring back Rafa. The people demand it! Otherwise, simply the best UK based football pod, by far. (Only Second Captains, Irish, on football is as good...or possibly better, heresy I know.) No wonder Glendenning is so bitter. On a side note. Laurens is a buffoon and shouldn’t be allowed on, and certainly shouldn’t be allowed talk about France or PSG. Not a real journalist. Gallic apologist. Again, bring back Rafa. Not the same without him, but for the love of all that is holy please please please dump Adrian Clarke who is simply an Arsenal booster.
