Arsenal take control of the title race as Forest & West Ham boost survival hopes

Jimbo welcomes Duncan Alexander, Jack Lang and Art De Roché into the studio after what felt like a pivotal night in the Premier League. Art was at the Amex to see Arsenal earn a 1-0 win that earned the wrath of Brighton boss Fabian Hurzeler. And more importantly took the Gunners 7 points clear of Man City. Pep Guardiola’s side still have a game in hand but threw away the lead twice against Nottingham Forest. How did Forest do it? Mark Carey was watching for us. And with West Ham also winning at Fulham, where does this leave the relegation battle? The race for Champions League football is hotting right up with 3rd to 6th separated by 3 points. That’s after Man United’s dramatic defeat to 10-man Newcastle and Villa’s home humbling by Chelsea. It’s FA Cup 5th round weekend. Wrexham reporter Richard Sutcliffe paints us a picture ahead of their clash with Chelsea at the Racecourse Ground. Plus Fulham, facial hair and Flamengo sacking Filipe Luis. Arsenal overcome Chelsea as Tudor loses his first two at Tottenham

Jimbo, Daniel Storey, Seb Stafford-Bloor and Matt Davies-Adams react to another pulsating Premier League weekend. Arsenal edged past Chelsea 2-1 with all the goals in the game coming from corners, responding to a Haaland-less Man City winning at Leeds. A nervy finish at the Emirates, as the Gunners go 5 points clear having played a game more. North London neighbours Tottenham are beaten again under Igor Tudor at Fulham, to make it 10 matches without a win in the Premier League as their relegation fears grow. Apart from Wolves, the bottom six all lose so it’s as you were in the battle at the bottom, even after an incredible seven goal thriller at Turf Moor. Goals galore on Saturday with big wins for Liverpool and Everton. And Man United are up to 3rd in the table after coming from behind against Crystal Palace. Carl Anka tells us more from Old Trafford. Produced by Charlie Jones RUNNING ORDER:  • PART 1: Moments of the weekend (01.00) • PART 2a: Arsenal 2-1 Chelsea (05.00)  • PART 2b: Leeds 0-1 Man City (19.30) • PART 3a: Fulham 2-1 Spurs (28.00) • PART 3b: Brighton 2-1 Nottingham Forest (36.00) • PART 4a: Man United 2-1 Crystal Palace with Carl Anka (41.00) • PART 4b: Liverpool 5-2 West Ham (47.00) • PART 4c: Wolves 2-0 Aston Villa (51.00) • PART 5a: Rangers 2-2 Celtic (58.00) • PART 5b: Burnley 3-4 Brentford (61.00) • PART 5c: Newcastle 2-3 Everton (65.00) Hosted on Acast.
