    On The Line director, John Murlowski and actor, Shylo Molina join me for a very special interview ahead of the film’s World Premiere this Friday October 16th at the Bearsville Theater at 8:15pm at the 2026 Woodstock Film Festival. On The Line stars Rosa Salazar opposite Shylo Molina with an ensemble cast that features Aaron Stanford, Jillian Mercado and Melora Hardin. . Here’s the festival write-up for the film: Based on a real-life call director John Murlowski took while working as a counselor at Los Angeles’ Suicide Prevention Center. Alex (Rosa Salazar) works tirelessly to help people on the edge. She’s exceptional, but she’s struggling. When Alex is put on mental health leave, she sneaks in one last call with Leo (Shylo Molina), a teenage boy whose story triggers something deep within her. Alex works her magic, but this kid sees through every one of her tricks and hangs up in frustration. Alex steals her boss’ car and heads into the night. She tracks Leo down, and desperate to buy time, she attempts a deal. Maybe there are a few things he should do before he goes through with his plan, and maybe… she could do them with him.
