Are you invisible online — and not sure how to change that? Raise Your Visibility Online is the podcast for business owners, consultants and professionals who want to get found, get known and get clients — using LinkedIn and AI tools together. Hosted by Louise Brogan — LinkedIn strategist, speaker, author and YouTube educator with over 109,000 subscribers — each episode gives you practical, no-nonsense guidance you can apply straight away. Some weeks we're talking LinkedIn. How to write a profile that attracts the right people. How to create content that starts real conversations. How to build a network that opens doors rather than fills your inbox with spam. Other weeks we're exploring AI and the tools that make all of this easier and faster. How to use AI to plan a webinar. How to repurpose your content without losing your voice. How to show up consistently without burning out. And a lot of the time, we're doing both — because the real opportunity right now is using AI as a tool to raise your visibility, build your authority and grow your business in a way that still feels like you. Digging My Way From a High Street Shop to a Top‑3 UK Podcast — with Caroline O'Neill

Caroline O'Neill didn't know how to start a podcast. She found out, hit record, and The Digg Podcast went on to reach number three in the UK podcast chart. In this episode Caroline tells me how she went from occupational therapist to shop owner in Dungannon to podcaster and trainer. We talk about closing a business, getting over the fear of being the face of your brand, and why the hard work happens long before you press record. Caroline is joining us on stage at Raise Your Visibility LIVE in Belfast on 8 October, in a fireside chat with Claire McCollum. What we coverWhy the business is called Digg (her dad drives a digger, and he backed her first shop)The pink flamingo Facebook Live that got 400+ shares and a queue outside the shopWhat she said when someone called her "desperate" for showing up onlineClosing Digg Childrenswear in 2020 and how the training business grew out of itStarting the podcast in 2021 with a borrowed microphone and a "just do five" briefWhy adding real life conversations from series five lifted downloads and brand partnershipsShowing up differently for different audiences: Digg for Success vs Digg MamaWhy social media is the new TV, and why she'd rather own her channelsHer DIGG framework: Discover, Involve, Give, GrowWhy one wee video on Instagram is not a strategy Timestamps00:00 Welcome and introducing Caroline02:00 From occupational therapist to opening Digg Childrenswear04:00 Learning online marketing the hard way05:00 COVID, closing the shop and starting Digg for Success06:30 Starting the podcast without a clue how07:30 Louise's own retail shop story10:00 Being the face of the brand, and the "desperate" comment13:00 Finding the way of showing up that suits your brand15:30 How Caroline plans the podcast and chooses guests17:00 Bringing in real life episodes19:00 In-person recording and making it a production21:00 Social media is the new TV22:00 Why every business needs a YouTube channel24:30 The DIGG framework30:00 What Caroline will cover on stage in Belfast31:00 Reaching number three in the UK podcast chart LinksRaise Your Visibility LIVE, Belfast, 7 and 8 October: https://louisebrogan.com/raise-live/The Digg Podcast: https://podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/digg-podcast/id1550452496 Caroline on LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/carolineoneilldigg/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/diggforsuccess/ Takeaways: I learned that showing up online — even when you're 'desperate' — saved my business and filled the till the next day.We use the Dig method: discover your audience deeply, give them helpful content consistently, then grow your reach with purpose.I still swear by 'stop the scroll' creativity — a pink flamingo or a dramatic hook can turn social views into real footfall. We always tell people to do the hard work before hitting record: map personas, align emails and website, and plan strategic content.I discovered that blending business advice with honest, real‑life conversations elevated my podcast downloads and attracted sponsorships and partnerships. We believe YouTube and owning your channels is the new TV — be the face of your brand rather than a faceless polished advert.I admit I had huge imposter syndrome when I pivoted from retail to training and podcasting, but learning by doing changed everything. We warn that viral fame without a clear strategy will fizzle; always strip back to your values, audience problems, and measurable goals.

Is YouTube Worth It for Your Business? With Rob Malone, YouTube Ireland

Think YouTube is just for teenagers playing Minecraft? Think again. In this episode, Louise chats with Rob Malone, YouTube Ireland Ambassador, who works directly with Irish creators, brands and agencies to help them start, scale and monetise on YouTube. They cover why niche content wins, why brands end up with a "corporate graveyard" of unwatched videos, how to nail thumbnails and titles, which analytics actually matter, and how AI is changing things for creators. Rob also explains why you don't need to post every week. If you've been sitting on the fence about YouTube for your business, this one's for you. Key takeawaysYouTube has room for every niche. If you can talk about your topic with passion, there's an audience for it, even if the topic is lobster pots or lawn mowing.Build a portfolio, not a viral hit. Your channel shows your expertise to potential clients before they ever speak to you.Be patient. Growth follows a "hockey stick" curve. A video with 50 views in week one can reach 30,000 a year later.Packaging matters. YouTube is a click-to-watch platform, so your thumbnail and title have to earn the click.Confirm the promise quickly. The first few seconds of your video should show viewers that it's what they clicked for.Put a face to the brand. Brands struggle on YouTube without a consistent person in their videos.Watch retention, not just views. Look at where people drop off and fix the opening first.Pick a concept you could film 10 times. Repeatable ideas, and enjoying the process, are what keep you going. Timestamps00:00 Intro01:00 What Rob actually does at YouTube02:00 "Isn't YouTube just for teenagers?" Is Your Website Ready for AI Search? with Patricia Greene

AI is changing how people search for businesses online. So is your website actually ready for it? In this episode of Raise Your Visibility Online, I’m joined by Patricia Greene from The Web Crew to talk about what businesses need to rethink as more people turn to tools like ChatGPT for recommendations and answers. Patricia has been designing, developing and managing WordPress websites for around 25 years, so she has seen plenty of changes in the way businesses get found online. This time, we’re talking about the move from traditional Google search towards AI search and what that means for your website. We talk about why clarity matters more than ever, how to structure your website content so both people and AI can understand it, and why some of the things we learned years ago about good blogging and SEO are becoming important all over again. We also get into headings and page structure, FAQs, pricing, case studies, Google reviews and the role your LinkedIn profile plays alongside your website. Patricia also explains why simply producing hundreds of AI-written blog posts isn't a sensible content strategy. One of my favourite takeaways from this conversation is that you probably don't need to rebuild your entire website. Patricia recommends looking at the useful content you already have and restructuring it so that it's clearer and easier for both your customer and AI to understand. We cover: What AI search means for business websitesWhy keywords alone aren't enough anymoreHow H1, H2 and H3 headings help structure your contentWhether you should update your old blog postsWhy FAQs can help answer the questions your customers are actually askingThe relationship between your website, LinkedIn and Google Business ProfileWhy reviews, testimonials and case studies matterWhether you should use AI to write blog contentCommon website mistakes Patricia is seeing in 2026What Patricia will be teaching at Raise Your Visibility LIVE Patricia is also opening our Workshop Day at Raise Your Visibility LIVE in Belfast on Wednesday 7 October, with her practical session on Restructuring Your Website for AI Visibility. She'll be showing attendees what they can change themselves, what they may want to ask their web designer to change, what AI is looking for, and giving everyone practical action points to take back to their own website. Workshop Day also includes LinkedIn Thought Leader Ads with Kristian Downer, YouTube with Rob Malone, small-group masterminds and our Belfast walking photography tour before we head into the main Raise Your Visibility LIVE conference on 8 October. Why Your Business Should Have a Podcast in 2026

Do you need a fancy studio, video cameras and a complicated setup to start a podcast? Absolutely not. In this episode of Raise Your Visibility Online, I’m sharing why I think podcasting is still one of the most powerful and underused marketing tools for business owners. I’ve been podcasting since 2017, and while the tools have changed, the basic process really hasn’t: sit down, record something useful, edit it and publish it. But the real opportunity goes far beyond simply building a podcast audience. A podcast gives you a reason to consistently share your expertise. It can help you build relationships with potential clients and collaborators, open doors to being a guest on other podcasts, grow your email list and create the raw material for the rest of your content marketing. And you don’t need to commit to publishing forever. A short six or eight-episode podcast series can be a brilliant way to demonstrate your expertise and introduce people to how you work. In this episode, I talk about:Why businesses are overcomplicating podcastingHow a simple 10–15 minute weekly episode can build your audienceUsing interviews as an easy way to get startedHow podcasting can help you build relationships internationallyWhy being a guest on other podcasts can create even bigger opportunitiesTurning one podcast episode into LinkedIn posts, emails and other social contentUsing your podcast to grow your email listWhy consistency matters more than having an elaborate productionCreating a short “capsule podcast” instead of committing to a weekly show foreverHow podcasting fits into a simple, sustainable visibility strategy One podcast. A week of content. One of my favourite reasons for podcasting is how much content you can create from one recording. Record a useful 10–15 minute episode and you have the starting point for your LinkedIn content, social posts and email marketing for the week. Instead of constantly asking, “What am I going to post about?”, your podcast becomes the source material. Create once, publish everywhere. Raise Your Visibility LIVEThis episode is sponsored by Raise Your Visibility LIVE, my inaugural conference taking place in Belfast on 7–8 October 2026. We’re bringing together business owners, marketers and experts to explore practical ways to grow your visibility through LinkedIn, YouTube, podcasting, email marketing and AI. And if you can’t make it to Belfast, virtual tickets are available, including access to the talks and video recordings. I’d love to see you there.
