Your Angry Neighborhood Feminist

I’ve been listening to this podcast for a few years and it is one of my favorites. As a bi woman who was born and raised ex-Mormon in Utah (family left the church during prop. 8 in California when I was 6) and who has gotten involved in activism and social work, this podcast has helped so much. I love the mini news episodes as well as episodes on different activists, issues, and history. I now live in Washington, just got my MSW, and I’m going into community social work because it is so needed right now. Your work has inspired me so much and helped me stay updated, informed, and active in my communities. Thank you!

I’ve only listened to a few episodes so far - 3 mini news shows and I’m in the middle of one of the bigger historical ones - and I realized this is the exact podcast I’ve been looking for! Madigan is clearly intelligent, she talks about current events, and is incredibly thorough with her research, making sure she is presenting accurate information. We know how important that is in today’s world. I can also tell she’s very proud of her work, and doesn’t do anything half-heartedly. The cherry on top is that her voice is not annoying! So happy to have found this podcast and I look forward to not only new content, but also going through the older episodes!

Madigan clearly puts a lot of work into this show. Every episode feels organized and well thought out. Her passion on these subjects is infectious in the best of ways. Thank you Madigan! Now love me dammit 😂

Incredibly well researched and informative! I appreciate the in depth stories about the feminists who came before us and paved the road to where we are today AND hearing the news that is a harsh reminder of how far we still have to go! Thanks Madigan!
