    Daisy and Rose

    Rory Sadoff is a holistic health and emotional wellness coach.  She is a master at boundaries!  During the 2019 holiday season, I became overwhelmed and burnt out with all of the activities that I was managing around me.  Rory was the first to tell me that she didn't feel like extroverting and would probably not come to the company Christmas party.  I just starred and starred at Rory.  I told her that I was exhausted and I hated parties, and she immediately understood that I had given myself a role and expectations as to who I was to the company and why I had to show up.  Then Rory did the most merciful thing, she said, "You don't have to go.  If you need time to rebuild your energy, do that instead."  I have thought about that talk with Rory many times.  Sometimes people create expectations for us to fulfill, and sometimes we create them for ourselves.  It then takes work and practice to give ourselves permission to change and to make different choices.  Enjoy my conversation with Rory as she takes me through a small part of her journey to wholeness.

    Dr. Gary Zetterberg is an amazing chiropractic doctor who also offers cold laser therapy out of his office in Park City, UT.  I'll say it bluntly-  if you are looking for real healing, find your way to Dr. Zetterberg!!!

    Six Pack Challenge With KRail

    I met up this week with KRail, aka: Kevin Rail of Park City at the Silver Mountain Sports Club. I was feeling brave and thought that I would learn from the KRail himself, how to get me a six pack… of abs. Kevin has been featured in the documentary films “Fasting” and “The Motivation Factor”. Now, he has designed a rigorous challenge called, My Six Pack Challenge. It’s invigorating both physically and mentally. But my favorite part of the program is the part where I can practice it anywhere- and by anywhere, I mean at home where I can fail without prying eyes around me. If I am being honest, fitness is a subject that I have told myself that I know a lot about, however I readily acknowledge that da’ Nile isn’t just a river in Africa. (I brought that joke with me from the 90’s). Kevin is a highly sought after fitness coach. He has an incredible wealth of knowledge and he has always been willing to share what he knows with anyone and everyone. We sat down to chat about fitness, and I ended up learning so much about the power of acknowledging your truth.
