Liv

My 5 stars are literally for Liv and not part of the “Liv Agar” commenting thing. She’s genuinely the most informative of the hosts. She actually does deep research. She’s not trying to be an edge lord either, unlike some… I don’t think I’d be listening at all without her. The episodes without Liv are usually poorly done and boring. Travis is the only other bridge to reality and he’s a bit boring, but also appreciated.
Conspiratorial thinking applied to dumber conspiracies

2 stars for debunking conspiracy theories with facts and research. After about a dozen episodes, I’m giving up. Sadly, the hosts are so baked into their frames of thinking, they cannot turn their analysis to their own pet theories of drivers of horrific events. They have a sophomoric understanding of systems dynamics, meaning they are often part right in their analysis, but then fall back on unexaminened heuristics for a lazy, simple answer, scoffingly delivered and too broadly applied. I say sadly because there is promise here, it’s just the facts and research are not worth sifting through the unfunny joking and half-baked analysis.
Used to be worth it

I’ve been listening for a long time and the information used to be worth sitting through three grown men literally giggling or shrieking at their own impressions or jokes. It’s gotten exponentially worse since the 2024 election.
Very Superficial

If you’re going to talk about Alex Acosta and not mention that Trump made him labor secretary, not mention Bill Barr at all, or that Pam Bondi accepted a bribe from Trump so that she wouldn’t pursue a fraud case against him, what are we even doing here?
longtime listener, pod just keeps getting better

i’ve listened for years and attended a live show and i love the way the pod has developed over time! all the hosts are great, i enjoy how their personalities mesh and their banter. liv agar has been an amazing addition to the show, i especially love episodes with liv and julian, they’re hilarious together. personally, i find julian’s blunt and/or crass commentary resfreshing and funny. i appreciate that he shares honestly, earnestly, and passionately, especially about his leftist political beliefs. some of my favorite episodes are Jake’s Takes, more of those please!! and more annie kelly!
Love it

This show is doing important work by shedding light on how far gone many conspiracy theorists are. It's also hilarious. Edit: You need to stop the Trump impression. Please.
wanted to like it....

...but its just the same format of insufferable bros trying to be funny. That would be ok if they were funny but they aren't. I prefer Pod Save America, frankly
Way too monetized
Feb 6
Too many of the episodes are premium and require you to pay. I know they have to make money, but this is the only podcast on my queue that has a paywall. Most others will find different ways to monetize that don’t pass that responsibility to the listener. Love what they’re doing with the subject matter, but I’m gonna have to unfollow.
Long time fan

If you need a really good episode to dive into to get a feel for the heart of the show, might I suggest episode 122 A Very Flynn Christmas Anthology. Thank me later
One non Q in the reviews
11/23/2024
Wow, Qaa has really peeved the q army and maybe a few random centrists. Had to leave my favorite podcast a good review after reading all those ridiculous reviews. Still funny, still informative and as delightfuly left as they started as. Liv has a great voice and is an amazing addition, more Liv, never less.
