I’ve noticed a lot of victim blaming from Seth, blaming victims of abuse, instead of abusers is horrific. If that’s the way of Jesus then why would i follow him? I would rather support victims of abuse and violence and sexual assault and psychological abuse even if Seth says it’s not the way of Jesus, supporting the hurt and marginalized feels right in my soul. Why would I worship a Jesus who hates women and uses the enneagram to mock and demean women!? The enneagram is not based on any credible peer reviewed research there is no evidence showing the enneagram is valid, true, or helpful. I hear more about the enneagram at this church than Jesus. Maybe you should rename your church enneagram city. I also want you to know that I left after pastors and ekkelsia leaders here told me to vote for Trump because that’s what god wants- talk about using the lords name in vain. One of the pastors here doesn’t think women should vote, drive, or work outside the home and he is still leading. Another pastor here doesn’t think women should lead ekklesias. Seth told me he didn’t like Obama and Biden’s policies on the unborn but he has no problem with trump’s policies on women and the way it’s hurting and killing women, and how he will continue to hurt the most vulnerable. If you wanna know why people are leaving church this is why. All you care about is the enneagram, Trump, and oppressing women while men can do anything because apparently god hates women but not men. Does Jesus hate women as much as you? Does Jesus hate women more than you? I asked about this was told we must be persecuted for Jesus. How is this good news? How is this good news for women? How is this good news for black people? When did Jesus say women are not made in the image of god? Why would I worship and follow Jesus if he hates women as much as this church does? Not surprising as this church has no pastors who are women and no elders who are women and very rarely lets women preach- Jesus trusted women, I wonder why you don’t? The first preachers of good news were women. Jesus called Mary magdelene the tower or the tower of the faith and women still can’t fully lead or speak in your church.

What I heard you say is it is the victims fault for what another person does to them. While what is stated is somewhat true, it is not the only outcome in which I would say is a lot more rare than in most cases. The pastor completely avoids the reality of actual church hurt that is incredibly damaging by focusing on patterns of why someone gets hurt. I get the sense that he has gleaned from others that adhere to “childhood wounds” such as from the enneagram. Placing so much emphasis on past hurts to explain current hurt also circumvents current hurt. I do not recall at any time that current hurt is also a reality. In basic terms, this pastor gave a license for those in a position of authority to write off what they have done that hurts others. The scenario, a pastor can and does something hurtful, the one hurt voices that, but now a pastor can say they are just reacting out of past hurts… that in and of itself is abusive. Tread lightly with this teacher. Especially if he and the leadership have utilized the Enneagram or from authors/teachers who use it, which I wouldn’t be surprised this church is.
