    Marsha Mason

It's Marsha Mason. You Might Know Her From The Goodbye Girl, Chapter Two, The Middle, Grace & Frankie, Drop Dead Fred, Heartbreak Ridge, Frasier, Only When I Laugh, Cinderella Liberty, and Judy Garland: Me & My Shadows. Marsha is a prolific stage and screen actor, a 4-time Oscar-nominee, an organic herb farmer, a race car driver, and a theatre director who gave us all the scoop on jumping in as a last-minute understudy for The Roommate starring Patti LuPone and Mia Farrow on Broadway. We talk about her artistic (and personal) partnership with her ex-husband Neil Simon, the original Goodbye Girl directed by Mike Nichols and starring Robert Deniro that never was (Bogart Slept Here), and what it was like seeing Kathleen Turner "play her" in her stepdaughter, Ellen Simon's film Moonlight and Valentino. All that plus, the cult status of Drop Dead Fred, her failed sitcom Sibs, and the Ethel Gumm of it all. This one was such an incredible full-circle moment for us and a great way to close out this half of the season but we'll be back real soon! Love yous, mean it. Chyler Leigh

You Might Know Her From Grey's Anatomy, Supergirl, Not Another Teen Movie, and The Way Home. Chyler Leigh gave us all the goods on her time on Grey's Anatomy: working with the late great Eric Dane, THAT musical episode, the scuttlebutt around Ellen Pompeo leaving, and shooting a cameo during COVID. We also get into Supergirl and how Alex Danvers coming out helped spark her own coming out as bisexual. All that plus, working with the time-traveling pond in Hallmark's The Way Home, accessing deep emotion at the turn of a dime, and having to jump in a hot tub with Marilyn Manson. Seriously. We were SO tickled by this interview and hope you are too.  Patreon: www.patreon.com/youmightknowherfrom Follow us on social media: @youmightknowherfrom on IG || @youmightknowherfrom on TT @damianbellino || @rodemanne Discussed this week: Emily and Amy from Indigo Girls post on TikTok Indigo Girls video addressing Emily's voice  Liza book club coming your way on the Patreon "3 hits" 97 year old Marilyn Maye doing "Before the Parade Passes By" last year Susan Sarandon and Geena Davis at Coachella Damian had a religious experience at Demi Lovato's MSG show The Way Home on Hallmark  Had an intense NDA as Lexie Grey on Grey's Anatomy Sandra Oh took Chyler under her wing Singing on Grey's was the scariest thing Rumors were swirling that if Pompeo left the show, Lexie could be the Grey's in Grey's Anatomy Shot Lexie's return episode in Canada and never saw Ellen Devastated by the recent loss of Grey's co-star Eric Dane Played Alex Danvers and her coming out story on Supergirl Did crossover eps of Grey's/Private Practice and then Supergirl/Arrows… Chyler on another time travel show, Reunion  Chyler in Marilyn Manson music video "Tainted Love" from Not Another Teen Movie soundtrack DWTS fanfic for chyler Were YOU into colored contacts as a teen?!
