In May 2021, he coordinated the launch of the Long COVID Clinic at MSD Ansonia and continues to personally evaluate new and ongoing patients each week. Committed to sharing Mount Sinai's expertise in Long COVID care, Dr. Carnavali has participated in numerous national and international forums, training providers in this emerging field. He has also built a strong media presence, spotlighting both the Ansonia clinic and the Mount Sinai Long COVID program to raise public awareness. Since 2024, he has served as Co-Principal Investigator on a grant from the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) and the Department of Health and Human Services titled "Evaluation of Long COVID Care Practices."
