There is absolutely no need to add distracting background music to his lectures

Alan Watts’ sprawling hour-plus long speeches are not to be found here. Someone has sliced and diced the truth into little soundbites and dressed it up in tinkly precious music. He would be incredulous. You cannot truly understand a scarab beetle if you study it outside the desert. You cannot cut out each individual letter from the book the Bhagavad Gita, place them in a great heaping pile and tell people to read. What a horror.

... but the music is rather cheesy, and it interrupts the natural rhythm of his own way of speaking.
