I discovered this podcast in 2020 via an episode on online dating, which was incredibly helpful for me at the time as I was walking through my own app dating journey. Shortly after, I met the partner whom I ended up marrying three years later. Having grown up with some purity culture messaging, the episodes helped me navigate so many questions I had about dating, relationships, and how we could define what living a Christian life means. It helped me figure out how to have a healthy relationship. I dare say at this point, my marriage has been strong and beneficial not only to me and my partner but also for the life of the world, and I attribute many of our healthy conversations and how we have been able to navigate differences to this podcast. I recently gave birth to a little boy and am now thinking of how I want to raise him without negative purity culture messaging. I am already going back to previous episodes where Jess and Devi have discussed raising children with a healthy view of their sexuality and how to talk about it with them. I am ever so grateful for the work these hosts have poured into this podcast that has benefited my life in a myriad of ways.
