When was the first time they clocked racism in their lives? What are the pet peeves they experience as a black man? In the wake of George Floyd's killing, does this movement feel different than those of the past? What needs to happen for this moment in time to have a lasting impact on society and to result in real gains for social justice? And, will these experiences change the next generation?

"What if" Dan Fouts never played at Oregon? "What if" Chip Kelly stayed at Oregon

"What if" Dan Fouts never played at Oregon? "What if" Chip Kelly stayed at Oregon

It's "what if" week here at Locked On! Today author and YouTube producer Kevin McCormick (@AuctorClarus) joins the show to talk about historical counterfactuals.
We kick it off by talking about "what if" Dan Fouts never got a scholarship to Oregon, and the possibility that Justin Herbert will be their next Phillip Rivers or Dan Fouts.
Down the stretch we discuss the possibility that Chip Kelly would be in that conversation with Urban Meyer and Nick Saban--had he stayed at Oregon.

Great show!

Excellent content (all about the Ducks). My only minor problem is the volume seems to be super low and ha e to Jack the volume on my phone to near max. Just turn it up a bit and it will be awesome!

Great Voice, True Duck Knowledge

There are a lot of Oregon-"themed" podcasts out there. And a certain number of them seem to be hosted by outsiders from the Duck world, but Jordan is clearly intimately familiar with UO history and Eugene in general. Makes for easy listening, and gets me pumped for Oregon Football.
