    Members' Q&A part 2 - Ugly cars, Benetton-Ford in '95 and V10 era misconceptions

For our next instalment of Bring Back V10s members' questions, Glenn Freeman is joined by Ben Anderson and Matt Beer. Subjects tackled this time include Juan Pablo Montoya racing for Williams in 1999 instead of Alex Zanardi, how Michael Schumacher's 1995 season would have gone with Ford power instead of Renault, what would have happened to David Coulthard without his 1994 Williams call-up, Ferrari's weird 'F1 logo' livery at Spa in 1999, and what we think are common misconceptions about the V10 era.

Digging into motor racing history with the hosts of our new podcast

As a listener to Bring Back V10s, we know you enjoy your F1 history, so we thought you'd like to hear about The Race's new podcast, which delves into other areas of motor racing history.
On this very special crossover episode of Bring Back V10s, Glenn Freeman chats to Matt Bishop and Richard Williams - the hosts of And Colossally That's History! - about their new podcast and what listeners can expect.
Glenn then introduces a section of the first episode, which is about Brawn GP and some of the unintended consequences of their F1 fairy tale. It's full of interesting details and behind-the-scenes information (Matt was working for McLaren at the time!), so we hope it's a topic that will appeal to BBV10s fans, even if it does stray into the V8 era!
If you enjoy this chat with Matt and Richard (and the excerpt of the podcast) please do search for And Colossally That’s History in your podcast app of choice and like, follow or subscribe to the feed so that you can listen to the rest of the Brawn episode and ensure that you get each episode of the podcast delivered to you as soon as they're are released.

In a members-exclusive follow-up to our Alex Zanardi 1999 episode from series 9, Glenn Freeman and Matt Beer revisit the chapter of Zanardi's 2004 book, My Story, that focused on his doomed F1 season with Williams. While you heard snippets from that book in the full episode, here we read through the chapter in its entirety - plus part of the late-1998 chapter that precedes it - stopping off along the way to ponder Alex's side of the story in more depth.

My Favorite Podcast

Thank you for connecting me with this incredible era of Formula 1 with such passion and detail. I’ve watched all the old races on F1TV but the broadcasts were not as informative back then as they are today. With that said, You’ll learn more about this awesome era of F1 from this podcast than you will anywhere else. Also, I signed up for the race members club today and the extra content is definitely worth the money! Thank you for putting on this show! -Avery (diehard F1 fan since 2008 from California, USA)
