Eidolon Playtest is two different actual-play RPG campaigns, releasing every Monday on alternating weeks! The goal of this podcast is to playtest EIDOLON: Become Your Best Self, an RPG inspired by Persona and Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, created by Luke Varner and Molly Rhinebeck!
EIDOLON POP is a story of a group of college students uncovering the secret, surreal past of their professor, while EIDOLON ROCK is a story of a gang of low-level Las Vegas criminals who stumble up on a drug that grants you superpowers. Check out our Patreon at patreon.com/eidolonplaytest for early episodes, GM notes, behind-the-scenes game design episodes, and early access to the gamebook!

Spider Fact: there’s a lot of good spiders in this show
Feel like this is the best example of a actual-play podcast where a lot of the characters have DEEPLY complicated relationships with each other and they actually get to be fleshed out and developed, rather than get crushed into neat friendships or gritting their teeth and working together. The PCs WILL throw the whole narrative into disarray so they can take turns strangling each other, and it’s great. Superb players all around, Quentin Brooks has my soul.
very good
i listened to every single episode within 2 weeks in a fit of bizarre mania and obsession. it’s really good 👍
Chill
Is good blend of chill vibes and interesting story telling.
