This show is awesome. I discovered the BBQ a few months ago when I was searching for any podcast episodes in which they were discussing a specific game, Alma Mater. I came for content on one specific game, but I stayed to enjoy the whole episode. So many interesting games covered. Then I listened to another episode. And another. Before long, I understood the format (start with a sizzle, then the question of the pod, then swearing an oath). All with lots of brilliant banter in between. The bbq crew seem like a fun lot. I think I heard someone mention that reviews are read aloud on the podcast once, and the call to the community was to write a rap as to thoroughly embarrass whichever pour soul has to read it aloud. Well, I’m not much of a rapper, but here’s a poem (in Portuguese): O churrasco do jogo de tabuleiro, É um lugar para os nerds, Todos nós temos uma prateleira de vergonha, Então nós grelhamos com nossas palavras. Anyway, it’s a great show. I’ve gone all the way back to the beginning and started listening to the original episodes from 2020. It’s been so cool to listen to the evolution of the pod and enjoy the development of chemistry between hosts. They also feature some fantastic guests, including Vital Lacerda, Ian O’Toole, Tom Vasel, and many others. Cheers, folks. Keep up the brilliant content.
