The Shocking (!) Connection Between Disney...and Young Sheldon!

Wanna know the BEST way to say hello to a famous person? The secrets behind filming Young Sheldon? Or how The Big Bang Theory's extended universe is inextricably tied to Disney?! …Well, then you're gonna LOVE this week's episode!  We are joined by entertainment journalist, red carpet reporter and two-time author Jessica Radloff to discuss her newest book — Young Sheldon: The (Jucier-Than-Meemaw's-Brisket) Inside Story of the Hit Comedy — and everything else about her career alongside celebrities! Her first book, The Big Bang Theory: The Definitive, Inside Story of the Epic Hit Series, is one of my all-time faves (more on that in the episode, obviously), but her second crack at world's-best-oral-history is a slam dunk too. Fresh off the release of her newest book (out this week!!!!), we're talking about EVERYTHING. Red carpets, Retro Epcot, George Clooney, and even one very shocking reveal about how our worlds overlap! If you were ever looking for a Big Bang Theory / Young Sheldon / Disney crossover episode, this is it! ENJOYYYYY! Relevant Links: Buy Jessica’s Big Bang Theory book! Buy Jessica’s Young Sheldon book! The Lucas Museum is Unhinged. (I'm Obsessed With It Anyway)

Come join me on a wildly deeply reported tour of the most confounding museum on planet earth. And yet — for all its quirks, pitfalls, Star Wars props and shocking reveals, I walked away beyond excited to go back to the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art. Why? Well, because there's never been a museum to spark this much conversation — which, in a way, is the ultimate narrative art, ain't it? Who knew Universal's New Fast & Furious Coaster would become its most controversial?

In today's fully reported episode, we are diving deep into Universal's new behemoth of a ride— my official review, my advice for when you visit, and what makes this coaster special — while also expanding upon the debate you may have seen online of nearby homeowners' extensive noise complaints.  Because...on Tuesday, I had so much fun riding Universal Studios Hollywood's new Fast & Furious Hollywood Drift coaster that I just kept going on, likely giving myself a mild concussion. On Wednesday, I drove to a stranger's house to interview a half-dozen nearby residents about how the coaster — namely its passengers' screams — has significantly impacted their lives. Consider this a 360 degree view (like the rotating vehicles!) of Fast & Furious Hollywood Drift and how one coaster can be so game-changing for this park, so mind-blowing for guests...and so infuriating for locals. Who's right? Who's wrong? And who is this coaster for? All of that…will be answered in this week's episode of Very Amusing.
