    It's official: AHSOKA Season 2 releases on January 20, 2026! The reveal was made at D23 (i.e. the Disney convention), and along with the release date, they also blessed us with the first trailer for the show! This was a jampacked trailer featuring, Force Ghost Anakin Skywalker, flashbacks of Anakin and Ahsoka during the Clone Wars (who is that guy wielding the teal lightsaber?!), Ezra and Zeb reunion, B-WINGS!, space battles, NIGHTSISTERS, and the bluest daddy of them all: THRAWN. It' a lot more than we were expecting and changed our plans from discussing THE NINTH JEDI.     We're living in truly crazy times, and things that would not even be remotely controversial ten years ago now bring ire to certain parts of society. A while ago, the idea of Christopher Nolan filming an adaptation of THE ODYSSEY would bring universal interest, but now any perceived ""woke" decision brings multitudes of vitriol and "discourse".     Star Wars: VISIONS presents -THE NINTH JEDI releases in a little over week and are extremely excited! A couple of weeks ago the trailer dropped and we discussed it at length (check that out if you haven't!). Today we're very honored to present a very special episode. We had the privilege to be able to participate in a roundtable interview, along some of our podcasting peers, with the creatives behind THE NINTH JEDI: Supervising Director KENJI KAMIYAMA, Director SHUNSUKE TADA, and Producer HITOSHI ITŌ. This was such a great opportunity and we gained such wonderful insight from everybody, which hopefully you do as well!     KRISTIN BAVER is a Star Wars legend. Kristin is a journalist who has been the editor-in-chief of StarWars.com since 2024. Not only that, but she hosted This Week! In Star Wars, and served as the inspiration for KB-68 in Adam Christopher's Shadow Of The Sith as well as Kitrin Braves in The Rise And Fall Of The Galactic Empire by Dr. Chris Kempshall. Additionally, she is an accomplished author who has written Skywalker: A Family at War, and The Art of Star Wars: The High Republic: Volume I, and Volume II. Most recently, she authored The Art of Star Wars: THE ACOLYTE, a book which like many of the rest of The Art Of... series, chronicles production art, character and vehicle designs, planets, storyboards, and other breathtaking work from the series. Today, we're so very privileged to talk to Kristin about her career and work on this wonderful book which showcases so much incredible art from this amazing show.
