I’ve been listening to this pod for a few years now, basically since it started. I’ve noticed a trend as of recently of Ryan making unfunny and insensitive jokes, especially within the new episode on Judas Priest. I can laugh at some insensitive jokes, I’m not a prude or anything, but good lord, maybe not when you are describing the suicide and attempted suicide of two young boys that were being abused? And the jokes are “no pun intended” and “losing your head” jokes? Low hanging, unfunny fruit. Please do better because I do love all the exhaustive research you both do and the subjects you cover. I don’t want to stop listening just because one host insists on making unfunny and low effort jokes about suicide, and any other “edgy” unfunny jokes I’ve heard throughout the series.
