Episode 159 of the Hey You Guys Podcast is ready to download, and this week, Liam and Rob looked back at James Cameron's, 1989 technical masterpiece, The Abyss. Now, it might not be his most beloved movie, and it's far from his most successful, but one could argue that, in many respects, it's the ultimate James Cameron movie. Does it hold up though? One of the earlier adopters of CG, a shoot that pushed the cast a crew to their limits, and a premise that is far from traditional popcorn fare, The Abyss was always something of a cinematic long shot, so please join us (link in bio) as we discuss this most interesting of 80s movies.

A reinterpretation of the long running Zatoichi series, Blind Fury, while tonally inconsistent, manages to deliver action, laughs an emotion in equal measure, and for all its faults, it's ultimately held together by a fantastic leading performance from Hauer.
