    Waiting Game

    This is Episode 5 of Season 12. It's very late at night, several hours after our elderly protagonist, Helen, was brought in unconscious after an unfortunate collision. The hospital staff at A&E (that's Accident and Emergency for our non UK listeners) are now exhausted as they come to the end of a very long shift. While our elderly protagonist, Helen, is still drifting in her mind between trying to get to grips with her current situation, and having flashback memories of events from her earlier life.     Purgatory

    This is Episode 4 of Season 12. Helen is still unconscious, as far as the medical profession can detect, but she's keeping herself amused in her head. And getting very bored. Her daughter Janey and son-in-law Jonathan are also trying to keep their spirits up, while the medical staff have problems of their own to contend with.     Am I Dead Yet?

    Helen, as you've probably worked out for yourselves, has had an accident and is presently in a coma in the Accident and Emergency Dept, where the staff are trying to figure out who she is. Helen, in her head, is desperate to know where she is, while her daughter Janey is also desperate to find her mother, helped by Helen's neighbour, Jennifer. The cast is: Frances Broudie Oldridge as Nurse Freda, Wendy Lap as Nurse Cassy, Christopher McDougall as Dr Harold Godley, Roy R Carruthers as Philip, John Warner as Jon Marsden, Erika Sanderson as Susie, and Flloyd Kennedy, as Janey, Jennifer, Ilse and Joey.     Where's Helen?

    Episode 2 of Season 12 continues with the mystery of whatever happened to Helen. Her neighbour Jennifer offers to help look for her, while Helen seems to be looking for herself. Ferdie was played by Chris Roust, Charmian by Catherine Pip, Roy Carruthers was Tom the Paramedic. Wendy Lap played Lou the Paramedic, as well as Nurse Cassy and Mrs McMillan. Christopher McDougall played Dr Harold Godley and the policeman, Frances Broudie Oldridge was Nurse Freda. Helen as a child, and as a teenager was played by Kate Hanley-Corley, Thomas was played by Piyush Agarwal, and grownup Helen and Janey were played by me, Flloyd Kennedy. The sound design is getting more complicated by the minute, but here's what I've managed: hospital emergency department was recorded by me at the Royal Liverpool, the cafe ambience was recorded at the Sweet Pea Cafe in West Kirkby. Live Laugh Loaves!" meet up in Helen's favourite Cheese Shop Cafe in south London, where cafe owner Ilse is getting ready for the lunch time trade. It's been a quiet morning so far, but things are about to hot up when the participants of Caroline's online cookery class arrive from various parts of the United Kingdom to meet up with their tutor Margot, who is about to fly in from Australia for a visit. You heard, in order of appearance: Flloyd Kennedy as Ilse, Helen and Margot; Wendy Lap as Rosemary and Katie; Erika Sanderson as Susie and Juliana; Andrea Richardson as Caroline, Christopher McDougall as Duncan, Karim Kronfli as Pierre and Roy R Carruthers as Freddie.
