Thinking Out Loud

This show was referred to me and I am very thankful for it. The insights and perspectives are very valuable. I think growing believers would greatly benefit from listening to these episodes because they will surely increase a listener’s spiritual maturity. I now listen every weekday morning because there are many episodes I want to catch up with.

Honestly I get the impression that the purpose of her book (as an investigative reporter) is to warn pastors of the tricky language that “woke activists” use to get pastors to promote or donate to their bad organizations (using words like “creation care,” for example, when they are actually promoting extreme climate change activism/ideology instead). She is certainly not criticizing the Church at large… Average churchgoers probably wouldn’t be affected unless their pastor was deceived & promoted it…

no substance. just talking to talk. saying your usual right wing views without any real discussion or pushbuck. pro trump stuff. typical gibber jabber. we want more bible less political views

First, I read “Shepherds for Sale”, unlike the two brothers on this podcast. Second, I’ve listened to critics of her book and her responses. I now am entitled to an opinion because of this. By their own admission neither of these brothers read the book, though they found the time to listen to criticism of the book, and automatically assumed the criticism was true without further investigation. This is the first time I’ve listened to this podcast but if this is the way they process information I’m not sure I have much that I can learn, except maybe what not to do.
