What’s New in Longevity: What’s Real vs. What’s Hype

A4M just gave us a front-row seat to what’s next in longevity care—here’s what we’re actually bringing back to Victory (and what we’re leaving behind).   In this episode, Amy Stuttle is joined by Anna Griffith, DNP at Victory Men’s Health to recap the biggest takeaways from A4M in Las Vegas—the largest academic conference in the U.S. for functional and longevity medicine. They break down what stood out, what felt “bright and shiny” but didn’t hold up under scrutiny, and what Victory is actually bringing back to patients.   You’ll hear practical insights on protein quality vs. just “eating more protein,” why amino acids (and leucine thresholds) matter—especially for those fasting or using GLP-1s—and the supplements they’re most excited to add, including Perfect Aminos and Urolithin A. Amy and Anna also discuss one of the most talked-about topics at the conference: TB-006 and Galectin-3 as an emerging area of research for neurodegenerative disease symptom support, plus the complementary role of modified citrus pectin.   They wrap with an update on the exploding peptide conversation—what’s real, what’s marketing, and why clinical oversight matters—and a look at new longevity tools Victory is adding at the new location, including VO2 max testing as part of a more complete longevity strategy.   If you’ve been wondering what’s next in longevity medicine—and what’s worth your time versus hype—this episode gives you the real-world, clinician-level breakdown.   My favorite air purifier for 15% off.  Code VICTORY $200 off a Sunlighten Sauna click HERE WorldLink Medical BHRT training. The Moment a “Niche” Became a $250M Brand

She turned “fangirl” into a business category—not even Disney saw it coming.   Recorded live at Tony La Russa’s Leaders and Legends in Scottsdale, Arizona, Amy Stuttle interviews Ashley Eckstein—founder of Her Universe and the original voice of Ahsoka Tano in the Star Wars animated universe.    In this conversation, Ashley walks through how she got the vision for Her Universe, how she built it into a movement that unlocked a massive, underserved market, and the business lessons behind scaling a brand that she says has driven over $250M in retail sales—before later selling Her Universe to Hot Topic.    You’ll also hear: What it took to keep betting on herself when the industry didn’t take the market seriously How she’s sustained a long-term career inside an iconic franchise while building a company in parallel  Why a supportive, high-performing partnership matters—plus lessons from building life with her husband, former MLB player David Eckstein  The role Disney played in shaping her belief that she could “shoot for the stars”   Ashley Eckstein's Instagram Click Here Victory Men's Health Click Here Victory Men's Health YouTube For questions email podcast@amystuttle.com Disclaimer: The Women Want Strong Men Podcast is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute the practice of medicine, nursing or other professional healthcare services, including the giving of medical advice, and no doctor/patient relationship is formed. TRT Isn’t a Shortcut—It’s a Medical Fix for a Real Problem

As 2025 wraps, Dave Lee steps back to zoom out on the testosterone conversation—and why it matters more than ever. TRT has gone from “what is that?” to mainstream in just a few years. That growth is a win. More men are finally getting help. But Dave breaks down the downside of the hockey-stick boom: misinformation, influencer hot takes, and a stigma that’s still keeping younger men from investigating legitimate hormone issues. In this episode, Dave explains why “just sleep more and lift” isn’t the full answer for a growing group of men under 30—and under 40—who are doing everything right and still testing like they’re decades older. He unpacks endocrine disruption, the modern “estrogen soup,” and why biology and mental health can’t be separated when we talk about men struggling. Most importantly, Dave frames TRT the way it should be framed: not as a crutch or a shortcut, but as a foundational medical intervention that can change a man’s trajectory—physically, mentally, and long-term. If you care about men’s health, performance, longevity, and getting the conversation right in 2026, this one is a must-listen. In this episode: How TRT went mainstream—and what that means for men now Why younger men are getting crushed hormonally (even with “perfect” habits) The link between androgen deficiency and men’s mental health TRT as foundation: disease prevention, brain chemistry, and life trajectory The two things the industry needs next: better competency + less stigma Victory Men’s Health — helping men get treated the right way, with real oversight and real outcomes.   Dave Lee Instagram Click Here Victory Men's Health Click Here Victory Men's Health YouTube For questions email podcast@amystuttle.com Disclaimer: The Women Want Strong Men Podcast is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute the practice of medicine, nursing or other professional healthcare services, including the giving of medical advice, and no doctor/patient relationship is formed. Is Testosterone About to Be De-Scheduled? What the FDA Panel Could Mean for TRT

Testosterone is the only natural hormone treated like a street drug—and the FDA just signaled that could change. In this episode, Amy Stuttle sits down with Rick Collins, Esq. (“Legal Muscle”)—one of the most well-known attorneys in the hormone, supplement, and peptide space—to break down the recent FDA expert panel on testosterone in men and what it could mean for patients, prescribers, and the industry. You’ll hear them unpack: Why experts are pushing to de-schedule testosterone (currently Schedule III) The argument that low T is a health crisis, not “vanity” Why the panelists want the prostate cancer warning stripped and the outdated narrative retired The ongoing shift on cardiovascular risk, including the FDA’s removal of the black box warning and discussion of the TRAVERSE trial The reality that most prescribing is effectively off-label under today’s criteria—and why that may change A candid breakdown of the “research use only” peptide crackdown, why over-regulation fuels black markets, and where legitimate medical oversight fits in   Follow Rick on Instagram at @RickCollinsESQ for updates as this story develops.   Rick Collins Instagram Click Here Victory Men's Health Click Here Victory Men's Health YouTube For questions email podcast@amystuttle.com Disclaimer: The Women Want Strong Men Podcast is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute the practice of medicine, nursing or other professional healthcare services, including the giving of medical advice, and no doctor/patient relationship is formed. If Your Hormone Clinic Does This… Run (TRT Red Flags You Can’t Ignore)

Most TRT clinics don’t have a testosterone problem—they have a standards problem.   In this solo episode, Dave Lee recaps a month of travel and teaching (Melbourne’s Trinitas Trade Expo and the Silverback Summit in Orlando) and shares what still shocks him every time he steps outside his “echo chamber”: the abysmally low standard of care that has become normal in men’s health—globally.   Dave breaks down the biggest TRT red flags he’s seeing in December 2025, including: The “Burger, Fries, and Coke” protocol: a cookie-cutter combo of testosterone + AI + hCG sold by default because it’s profitable—not because it’s indicated Clinics using fear-based selling (“You’ll get infertile,” “You’ll grow boobs”) to upsell ancillaries before you even know what you need Minimal lab work that only checks if you “qualify,” not what’s actually driving symptoms (and why comprehensive assessment matters) The newer trend: clinics that push peptides on everyone—often as trendy add-ons rather than targeted tools tied to a real need Why prophylactic aromatase inhibitor use is one of the clearest warning signs of poor care The red flag that shows up later: no real follow-up, support, or education—leaving you to crowdsource your health online   This episode is a practical checklist for anyone considering TRT (or already on it) who wants to identify clinics that prioritize outcomes over upsells—and find care that’s individualized, evidence-informed, and actually supportive. Trust the Process, Not Reddit: How Overthinking Ruins a Good TRT Protocol

In this solo episode, Dave Lee tackles one of the trickiest parts of hormone optimization that doesn’t show up on lab work: your mind. He breaks down the placebo and nocebo effects, what “psychosomatic” actually means, and why your symptoms are real even when they’re driven by the brain—not just the bloodwork. Dave explains how anxiety, over-monitoring every sensation, and trying to micromanage your TRT protocol from Reddit can completely derail your results, even when you’re working with a great provider. He lays out what it looks like to be a compliant, self-aware patient, why you must outsource protocol design to a competent clinician, and how to regulate your reactions so you don’t turn a good treatment plan into a car crash. This is a must-listen for both patients and providers navigating the messy intersection of biology, psychology, and hormone replacement therapy.
