    How The Ink Alliance Is Changing The Comics Industry - An Interview

    Ten Black comic shop owners just joined forces to create The Ink Alliance, a powerhouse collective transforming how Black creators, local communities, and comic fans can build power and change the culture in the industry.     Ram V Interview - Deicidium and The Black Tower: The Raven Conspiracy

    Acclaimed comic book writer Ram V returns to the show for an in-depth conversation about his most ambitious creative project to date (in my mind anyway,) a new nine volume graphic novel series called Deicidium and we spend a little time on his new DC Comics Vertigo project The Black Tower: The Raven Conspiracy. Ram opened up about the necessity of taking a recent creative break to recharge, step out of his comfort zone, and flex new narrative muscles beyond the monthly superhero title grind. Fresh and ready to till new ground, he breaks down his massive new sci-fi graphic novel series, Deicidium, launching via French publisher Morgan to be distributed in English language markets through Image Comics. Our discussion explores the philosophical and mythological themes behind the book, its global release strategy, and the collaborative partnership with artist Evan Cagle. The conversation then shifts to Ram's new DC Vertigo series, The Black Tower: The Raven Conspiracy, where he's reunited with the fan-favorite Swamp Thing creative team of Mike Spicer(Spicy) and Mike Perkins(Perky;) sharing the inspirations behind this occult spy thriller, diving into British espionage roots, and the esoteric history of the Tower of London's ancient myths.
