Leadership, Mentorship, and a Lifetime of Giving Back (Dr. Mehdi Mobini)

Send us Fan Mail What does it look like to live by the words "good thoughts, good words, good deeds" for nearly 50 years — across multiple countries, species, and universites? Dr. Mehdi Mobini's answer is this episode. This is the first in our new One Community series, created in partnership with AVTE — the Association of Veterinary Technician Educators. One Community is built on three pillars: leadership, innovation, and mentorship. Dr. Mobini embodies all three. A veterinarian trained in Iran who came to Auburn during the hostage crisis with no money and no safety net, Dr. Mobini went on to become a small ruminant specialist, a veterinary technician program director, a six-year AVMA Board member, and one of the most consistent advocates for the veterinary technician profession in rooms where that voice has not always been welcome.
