TALK ABOUT A HOOK ….or should I say HOOKS ! The Ann Patchett interview on her “Bel Canto” was FASCINATING 🤩 And the interviewers? ABSOLUTELY THE BEST ! Wonderful questions, very informative, no talking over each other or interrupting, interesting…I love Ann’s books and her book store. I am thrilled to have found such a perfect podcast for me. Thank you for your podcast and discussion of Bel Canto with Ann Patchett. I read this book when it first came out and it has stayed with me over the years, it is a book I often recommend along with other books by Ann Patchett. I am anxious to read Bel Canto with Ann’s annotations.

I’m an avid lifelong reader, always looking for a new good read, so I enjoy this podcast series very much. It’s not just because they talk books but also the conversations with authors. I just listened to the Richard Osman interview and it really exemplifies the best of the podcast. As usual I wanted it to go longer. I feel that way about many of the podcast interviews.

Charlie I have loved you for at least half of my life and now I’m totally enjoying your podcast with this fun and funny person who just happens to be your daughter! Your last on air partner, Joan London, was also pretty awesome. You two are so well suited to this podcast thing I can hear your excitement in each episode…and I’ve decided that I must get to a local bookstore and make some purchases very soon! Very inspiring!!
