The Uncommon Leaders Podcast

Although I was never enrolled in Jon Welton’s School, I have received so much from this humble and vulnerable man of God. Many leaders talk about how the Lord has used them in the extraordinary and miraculous. While those stories need to be told, Jon tells the stories, his story (and especially his wife!) that we need to hear more and more during these times of fallen leaders, broken trust, and much church hurt. Jon tells his story in such a vulnerable way that I believe will bring healing and love back to those who are need of it. I’ll be honest, I don’t get all the movie quotes and how it fits in, but the heart behind his words are priceless and powerful just as any miracle to transform and heal from the pulpit. I cannot recommend it enough. Give it a listen!

The picture, the opening film clips, even the closing music clips creates quite a hype and he delivers a dud! The first 4 episodes, dealing with his failures and fall never seem to come across as he failed, he sinned as much as the excuses of the result hardships from youth. His masculinity and femininity bit lacks biblical foundation as he often repeats that it’s “how he sees it”. I wouldn’t recommend this to or for anyone. John comes across whinny

My husband and I are both former students who benefited greatly from your teachings. Mike and I have grown so much spiritually and as a couple. Please hang in there! We have held this situation in our hearts and prayed for All parties involved since it all happened. We forgive you and are confident the work God began in you will bring it to completion. Thank you Jon, for being honest enough to tell your story. I was one of your students and finished 2 years of Welton Academy. Those 2 years taught me more than 30 years in the church and transformed my life and faith. I am and will be forever grateful. I do believe that anyone can be redeemed, even the “unredeemable” narcissist (lol). Unfortunately, that term has become the unpardonable sin in todays culture! But our God is bigger and better and able to do MORE than we could ever ask or think! I will continue to pray (and believe) for you and your family…and continue to listen to your story. God has gifted you with much for His body so keep fighting the good fight and press on in your calling.
