Finally Eastern States 100, where Rocksylvania earns the name: twenty-thousand-plus feet of climbing, a chest-deep creek crossing, a, rattlesnakes, blueberry pancakes you summon with an air horn and then can't eat, and a 54% DNF rate. Elliott dropped at Tomb Flats; KJ dry-heaved his way to a buckle and then got eaten alive by biting flies in the finish-line grass.
