    People Are Trading in Cars With MASSIVE BALANCES STILL OWED

    Down payments for vehicles are going down, car payments are going up, loan terms are getting longer, and now we have a record amount of people trading in cars with massive balances. We're talking still owing $10,000, $15,000 sometimes more. And then they end up rolling over that debt into a new loan for another vehicle.     In this housing market standoff, someone is gonna have to lose whether it expires or sellers. So far no one wants to lose, but it can't remain like this forever. One side will have to give more than the other and so far it looks to be that sellers are going to have to be the ones to lose for now.
