    Dillon Harville

Episode 200 is on the scene and Dillon Harville stops by. He broke Dustin Rumley's win streak at Ace Speedway on Friday night and he tells us how he became the bounty collector. He also discusses what he's been up to the last four months after not being in the car, his new venture with Woodard Motorsports and his love for riding roller coasters. Only appropriate that a race car driver in this roller coaster of a sport would love to go fast and high in the air. We review the Richmond weekend featuring Kaden Honeycutt's dominating Truck Series win, Joey Logano winning for the second time in four Cup Series events and how he has come from being outside the top 20 in points to ninth in a span of a few months. We discuss Josh Berry's stock going up after three straight top ten's, what is happening at Hendrick Motorsports, Kyle Larson's quest to win at Knoxville and so much more from the Action Track. The zMAX CARS Tour takes a trip down south to Anderson Motor Speedway in Anderson South Carolina and we preview the event. Who will have the edge in both the Late Model and Pro Late Model divisions? Will Caden Kvapil continue to pad his points lead or will someone like a Jared Fryar or a Chad McCumbee can stand tall? We discuss it here. In this week's edition of Hotel Hell, Julian tells us his hotel story from Richmond while Jody' feeds your appetite with DUBS, we preview the racing from New Hampshire, tell you where you can support your local short track and much more on our 200th episode. Throwback Classic Winner Matthew Gould

Episode 199 is on the scene with the winner of the zMAX CARS Tour Throwback Classic from Hickory Motor Speedway Matthew Gould of NIECE Motorsports. He tells us how much this win meant to him, the close calls he experienced, the growth NIECE Motorsports has experienced, growing up in a racing home, a love for culinary arts and much more. The Throwback Classic is in the books and we give our takes on the race. From the massive carnage in the Pro Late Model Race to the late start because of the rain to the battles up front in the Late Model event, this race had a little bit of everything and we discussed it all including TJ Decaire winning the Pro Late Model event. The Dark Knight Rose again at Pulaski County Motorsports Park in Virginia Friday night. Jake Crum picked up his second win of the season in SMART Modified Tour Competition. Hear from the top three finishers in the event in addition to Burt Myers as he led early but the pit strategy didn't play into his favor. Jake wasn't the only person in the household that picked up a win as his wife Annabeth Barnes went wire to wire in the Carolina Crate Modified Race that same night. There's nothing corny about Ty Gibbs and Carson Kvapil who picked up their second career wins in their respective divisions at Iowa Speedway over the weekend. We discuss the continued dominance of Toyota and some of the major comes and goers in the points standings as we head to Richmond this weekend. All of this and so much more on DLN! Taking Flight With Cole Bruce & A Hampton Heat Review

Episode 197 is on the scene and we are taking flight with Cole Bruce who won the pole and finished third in Saturday's Hampton Heat from Langley Speedway. Cole tells us the story about how he wasn't originally going to be in this car this weekend as the previous driver Wesley Slimp was unable to race due to injury. He also discusses the near misses during the race and how they were able to have the speed to win the pole and compete with some of the toughest names around. We also caught him at the perfect time as he just passed his Commercial Muti-Engine Checkride earlier during the day we recorded the show making him eligible to fly planes! We break down the race itself and discuss all the trouble Chase Burrow got into with a reminder that racers are human and that we still love him. We also discuss Ayden Millette's strong run and the incident that ended his day, trouble for the contenders and more including who is set up to run for the Virginia Triple Crown at Martinsville in September.  It was Heim Time on Sunday at the Brickyard. We discuss Corey Heim's second Cup Series win driving a part time team and debate on the last time this actually happened in the Cup Series. We also discuss the attendance woes at the speedway for NASCAR, the lack of passing for the lead and if this is indeed a Crown Jewel race since that has been brought up for discussion lately. Langley Speedway's Bill Mullis

Episode 196 is on the scene and it's Hampton Heat week at Langley Speedway. Track owner Bill Mullis is in the house and we discuss all the preparations the track is doing for the second leg of the Virginia Triple Crown, why the track is such a hit in the community, whether or not he's going to ride a bull anytime soon and much more. It's always a great time when Bill stops by and this was no exception. This year's Hampton Heat will have it's share of heavy hitters. Brenden "Butterbean" Queen tries to win a record breaking fourth event this weekend while Connor Hall returns to win his second. Matt Waltz won it last year and you know he will be bringing another strong piece to Langley while Lee Pulliam returns to JR Motorsports looking to rebound from South Boston. We pick our winners and discuss the storylines heading into it. The only thing hotter than Kaden Honeycutt in Late Model racing was the temperature in North Wilkesboro. We discussed another CARS Tour sweep from Honeycutt in both Pro and Late Model Stocks and all of the action from Wilkes County on Friday and on Saturday for the Truck Series as well. We also address Speedway Motorsports (SMI) joining the CARS Tour ownership group and what that means for the future of the Tour. The IHRA made more headlines last week by shuttering the IHRA Stock Car Series not even halfway through it's first year of existence. We were able to reach out to an anonymous source from the IHRA and we were able to answer some of the questions race fans had about what exactly happened, who hasn't gotten paid and what the future holds. It also leads us to a great conversation about the economics of Late Model Racing that you do not want to miss. Joey Logano ended his over 40 race winless streak in the Cup Series return to points paying racing at North Wilkesboro. We discuss everything that happened Sunday night plus we break down the finals of the Midseason Challenge and so much more this week on DLN! Transponders at Bowman Gray Stadium have arrived and we already have some controversy. We discuss what happened that helped Slate Myers prevail over his dad Burt on Saturday at the stadium. Tri-County Speedway and Hickory Motor Speedway are less than 30 minutes away from each other but that's as close as the two tracks can get from time to time. We discuss some of the recent online rumblings between these two tracks and in our perfect world, come up with a way to put the two together in harmony if you will. We discuss Ryan Blaney's dominating win at Echo Park Speedway, Bubba Wallace and Ty Gibbs confrontation, the penalty for Wallace at the end of the race and what may have led to Rudy Fugle and William Byron's intense radio communication caught live on tv.
